I like both Burzum and Mayhem.Don't forget that fucking Mayhem best album (De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas)Varg PLAYERD there and was on studio.I think that Euronymous' parents made something to the bassline that Varg recorded.Burzum and Mayhem are purelly different,period. DIfferent objects, different cultures..(pagan/satanism)thus the sound beeing so different as they even transmit different stuff. it is true that it would have come down to either varg or euronymous - so what it comes down to on choosing sides is this one fact: burzum made shit songs, whereas mayhem has only gotten better and better with time, mayhem has always been an amazing black metal band...burzum has always licked balls.
