  • would you sell any of these?

  • once you hear the jazz music at the start of the video, you know this is going to be some real pro hard as hell to make yourself stuff

  • How does your custom acrylic stand up to your other snares?

  • is the song fanfare for the common man? sounds fimiliar

  • @stewartbarnes15 Nope, its Rhapsody in Blue. But I do hear the similarities now!

  • What did you use to drill the acrylic?

  • @XxMAXYPADxX They have drill bits designed for drilling into acrylic at Lowe's or Home Depot. Even Walmart I believe.

  • I know Guerrilla gives great advice for working with acrylic but how was it for you. Was it trickier for drilling or more difficult in any way?

  • @thislisa The only tricky part was making sure the drill is straight. If not you could easily crack it.

  • @PicklesandFrogs Thank you. That is good to know.

  • where do you get the acrylic shell??

  • @planbskater565 This one in particular I got it at DrumGearOnline.

  • @PicklesandFrogs Sorry I lied. I got that one straight from Keller shells.

  • What song is this?(:

  • @iequalztehgod Rhapsody in Blue.

  • Whats the average cost of making a snare like this? Also do you do all the bearing edges/drilling yourself? been thinking about making myself my own snare but I'm not sure yet

  • @inline929 average for me was about $400 and yea i did all the drilling and edges even the holes in the silver snare. Although I dont recommend you do if you have never done it.

  • 2:23 man awesome snare!!

  • can i please have your snare at 2:25 its awesome :D

  • why do people always use that blue tape????????

  • @ConorSloane118 Its painters tape. The sticky grade on that is very low. And it wont leave anything behind when you pull it off.

  • @PicklesandFrogs Oh thanks man!!!

  • Fucking awesome dude, keep going :)

  • DW??????.LudWig?????......nah....I made my Own!

  • yeah they look good but next time lets hear wht they sound like

  • @TheBandElysium I did..look at my other videos. I'm using one of the snares.

  • what material is that at 1:45 and wear could i get it?

  • @MMTPproductionz Its called Acrylic. You can get it at any drum building website (drumfoundry, drumgearonline, precisiondrumco, Keller Shells, etc..)

  • im assuming you bought the shell "premade" and then just put your own style of lugs, hoops, and throw offs on them? or did you actually make your shell.

  • @128doe nope, i couldnt imagine him making an arylic shell. I built my own stave snare drum out of wood, it is alot harder to do than drill holes into a shell and screw lugs on... no offense. Those are beautiful drums but... i think hes getting too much credit for what he did.

  • @jackthedrummer96 Just to clarify..No I didn't build the shells. Although if I had the proper tools I could. Maybe except for the Acrylic Shell. Besides there are only like 3 comments asking if I built the shells myself. I don't really see much credit going towards me about that. Most Custom drum Companies don't even make their own shells.

  • how do you bend the acrylic in to a round shell with out breaking it do you heat it up. and where do you even get acrylic like that

  • how do you build these?

  • around how much does one snare cost you to make?

  • Sick snares man!

  • on your amber acrylic. if your tube lugs are 2 1/4 inches then how long are your tension rods? Are RCI acrylics the best?

  • I love guerrilla drum making they fuckin rock

  • are you selling any of them?

  • ur snare drum made me jizz in my pants

  • @PicklesandFrogs ur snare made me jizz my pants too :O!

  • were r u from?

  • @lilbigdrumma idaho

  • how thik are acrilic shells?

  • some of these snares are beautiful, i'm sure i'm not the only one that would be very interested in buying one, well done!

  • how did u do the bearing edge, or were these pre done? im currently building a snare for my GCSE project and what it to be as high quality as possible.

  • nice! what kind of drillhead do you use for drillin the holes in acrylic shells?

  • That wouldn't happen to be a Tama Starclassic set would it? I see it in the first final picture... haha. I have the same kit!

  • wow love it man .. how cheap are those plastic clear shells? 14inc about

  • it depends. Cheapest would be around $40 for a good shell.

  • @PicklesandFrogs what about the sound of the snares?

  • That's true

  • You should get a clear head for the orange snare. good job!

  • single ply too

  • @TheChakaguy Clear heads on acrylic look more asthetic, but the coated (especially evans reverse PC) sound much better.

  • i see u went with the trick throw off good choice

  • i love the acrylic one

  • uuummm I wanna marry you snare drums so sexy ...

  • were do u get the acrilics and stuff

  • @futurerev21 I got the shell directly from Keller and the parts from drumgearonline

  • @PicklesandFrogs i think he's talking about the acrylic (clear) shells

  • Wow, how do they sound?

Because I'd seriously buy one of those :O

  • 2:31 is gorgeous

  • Haha the music is sexxxxxxyy.....

  • wer do u get the shells?

  • There are so many out there but the main ones I buy from are drumfoundry(dot)com or drumgearonline(dot)com.

  • peli porno

  • Very talented craftsman. I personally suggest you make this a full time profession.

  • Very Nice! And thanks so much for repping the Video.

How are things? Any projects lately?

  • Thanks man. And no problem. Just my way of saying thanks for making a great instructional DVD. Yes I have a 16x14 floor tom and a 14x6 snare drum. I just completed a rack tom. I'll probably post a vid here soon.

  • I would pay incredible money for a 13 inch Green acrylic snare wit tube lugs and black harware. tube lugs <3
