take it from someone who had this phone. i liked it for the first couple months. but after that it started acting up like crazy, it would randomly call people, and freeze up. i would NOT recommend this phone to anyone. i had to have FIVE of these phones before i could get a different phone entirely.

I just updraded from the HTC Touch Pro. Both phones are awesome. they have improved on a good thing to hopefully make it better. I did have minor issues with the first phone but it worth getting. You can do Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, view PDF's and even Powerpoints! It is a fragile phone so if you are rough with phones I recommend the Samsung Sega it's cheaper to replace and has better battery life. But overall I do recommend the HTC Touch Pro 2.

if you buy a phone unlocked, it dosent come with any plan or restrictions.. its the phone by itself. the only bad thing about that is you have to pay around 500-600 dollars for the phone instead of the 199 with contract.
