scions weren't about speed in the first place. they are all about customization. Their cars are directed towards the Kustom Kar Culture of today's society. Like what George Barris did for the hot rod community back in the 50's, 60's without the high horsepower of course. We live under totally different circumstances now thats why.

I am in college, single, rarely drive long distances on a highway, and almost never carry anything beyond a backpack. I do not need trunk space, a big engine, or room for a family. However a funky head turner car that can fit me and a 1 or 2 friends decently is perfect for me. Buy the car that is right for you, which this car is for me, if not for you get something else. Anything bigger than a 2 door is overkill for the way I use my car.

The Toyota IQ is a serious and much better little city car in the class of the Smart. Quality is high and ride is a lot better than the (not so) Smart. You can fit in 4 adults or 3 adults and decent shopping baggage.
