ADDITIONAL POINTER! When putting your vehicle on axle stands, make sure they are under the axles, and not just the frame. Helps with keeping the suspension under load so it doesn't sag.
@draward not the axles tubes,that loads the suspension[compresses it]put the jack stands on the frame jack points or where the manual says.Keeping it loaded,leads to early sagging,let it hang,no load.
@goldsgym1244 most call them jack stands,their not made for putting under the axle,though you can for short period[stock axle tubes don't like it]for long term storage you want to unload the suspension,compressing it ,leads to early sagging
Add the stabilizer a day or two before you store, helps get stabilizer in the carburator (or efi) and fuel lines to prevent the ill effects of ethanol. Or find ethanol free gas (if it's available to you)

great tips,jack stands also help unload the suspension,relax it.You can just remove the battery,reinstall later.

@inagod we call them axle stands here which kinda makes more sense seen as they stand unde the axle lol not the jack!

@hvf26 lead-acid batteries loses charge over time. It's not like alkaline that never loses charge when it's disconnected from an electrical device.

u need the right charger or else you can cook the battery
i recommend a Ctek Charger if you want to leave it hooked up all winter.

@zlucca baking soda helps absorb odors i believe... guess hes leavin it there to do just that so you dont get a stale odor
