I have a question concerning your statement. According to Pastor Manning, he stated God told him this is the spirit of a women in a man when he dances like this, and there nothing holy about it. All it really does is entice women and some men sexually. It is my contention, it is our African expression that has moved into the Pentecostal worship. You see the same thing in Voodoo ceremonies, the music, the possession, the dance.

@reydawks Yes they were!! I've been in this church all of my life and I have never seen it at its current state. We know that the mother's did not play about them wearing pants and a whole lot of other things they are doing and wearing! I miss COGIC the way I grew up in it! There was so much power because of the standards of holiness and their zeal for God. Now, there's no standard, no zeal, and no power!

That is because the creator is unconditional love, which most human are incapable of. They are too busy ACCUSING. I constantly run into gay black men who have been hurt by the church, and their primitive teachings, which has done nothing for your communities. We have the highest HIV rate, male incarceration rate, disease and obesity rate in the country. Why Religion, not spiritually. We are lost soul who have embraced the religion of our oppressor.

As he stated, he as I and many who were raised in the church have prayed, fasted, had holy oil slung on us, yet the desire remains. Now what do we do? You as many Christians have no answer for this phenomenon. It is beyond your understanding. God needs to reach the thousands of young gay black men who have been ministered by his music, to show he is a God of unconditional love, and knew them before they were formed in the belly. Only He has the answer. God does not need a BOOK!
