I got diagnosed with hepatitis B recently about three weeks ago. at first, my urine was really dark colored and stool was light brown. for almost two weeks now, my urine is back to normal and stool is too. My doctor said that its acute hepatitis b. I did have yellowing of the eyes which is jaundice but for the past week, my eyes are getting back to white agian. I have no pain in the abdonimal area. Doctor said to drink plenty of liquids and eat healthy, rest well, and no sex till its all gone.
The most effective means of prevention is the hepatitis B vaccine. This vaccine, which is given in a series of three doses, provides immunity to the disease. Scientific data show that hepatitis B vaccines are very safe for adults, children and infants. There is no confirmed evidence indicating that hepatitis B vaccine causes chronic illnesses.
