  • for some reason, these three notes at the beginning always get me.

  • the somber piano piece at the start of this video is excellent, does anyone know where I could find a longer version? a name at all?

  • @SpiltSunlight Exactly what I was wondering.

  • Does anyone know, when the official score is releast and where i can buy it? (in germany)

  • i love sherlock, but i hate moffat (he writes/produces sherlock and is the head writer of doctor who). he gave us a cliff-hanger on doctor who too... ugh he's probably just sitting there going trollololololol at us because we don't know what happens. ARGH! MOFFAT STOP TORTUREING ME! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS! GIVE ME THE NEXT EPISODE! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • Best series I've seen in 15 years.

  • that music is just perfect

  • As a plus the actors are sexy :)

  • the simple piano melody in the beginning is so beautiful. i don't know why but that is what i remember the most from the soundtrack.

  • As an American, all i get is Jersey Shore, American Idol, and Gossip Girl.

You Brit bastards get Doctor Who, Sherlock, Luther, Life on Mars, Coupling, Law and Order UK (which is superior to all of ours), Top Gear (the good one), and I'm sure a million other shows I haven't even heard of yet. We may have won the American Revolution, but F@#k you and your superior TV!

  • @Elitepear And what's wierd is America is a lot bigger than Britain so you would think there would be more good TV writers.

  • @squaferno There probably are, but they just aren't getting jobs...Chuck Lorre took them all

  • @Elitepear Don't forget Merlin.

  • @Elitepear To be fair, we also have/had Star Trek, Community, Arrested Development, Gilligan's Island, Game of Thrones (although the actors are European), Bonanza, Firefly. I suppose it's all up to taste though.

Anyway, don't forget IT Crowd! ♥ Funniest show ever.

  • @datbloggerVIVI I mean, yeah, we do have good television, no doubt....but it's the consistency, I guess. For every 1 good US show, there's 10 bad ones whereas I haven't seen a UK show I didn't like yet.

Also: Firefly wasn't a show...it was a cultural revolution no one paid attention to the first go around...

  • @Elitepear I think you're forgetting LOST, Mad Men, Walking Dead, Friends, Sienfeld, The Office (started as British, but Carell made the US one pretty hilarious) and 24 was pretty good, along with the classics like I Love Lucy, Happy Days, The Munsters, and like someone else pointed out freaking Star Trek, which is possibly the best t.v. series of all time. Also this fall starts Terra Nova and Alcatraz both which look pretty cool. Just sayin...

  • @Elitepear you can watch doctor who on bbc america i think.

  • @Elitepear Actually, as an American you also get Dexter, Battlestar Galactica, and Arrested Development. The British get the original version of The X Factor. Brit TV only seems superior to Americans because they don't export their rubbish to us.

  • @pulpculture That's a legit point. Personally, I'm more into Archer, Justified, Community, and Raising Hope as examples. It is a fair point that it's based on what they send out to us, but when it's good it's fucking fantastic as compared to our when it's good its good compared to other crap on tv/ok, yeah it's pretty brilliant.

  • @Elitepear It's the same story when you're in Australia, LOL. And we have to endure Top Gear Australia, which is absolute torture.

  • @TeeGeeFan Top Gear UK is pretty rubbish too to be honest! :p don't complain, at least they don't include Jeremy Clarkson! :p

  • @Elitepear Aww! Feel so sorry for you. CBS is making a modern day Sherlock Holmes too...that'll go well!

  • @Hollyboppers CBS try and make a modern Sherlock? They better just show BBC UK's over here.

  • @Elitepear One redeeming show may be Mythbusters. Unfortunately, they had an incident.

  • @Elitepear We've also got being human which apparently isn't good enough for american tv studios so they had to F*** it and lots of other shows up with their own versions

  • @Elitepear I enjoy your comment more than you can possibly imagine. Despite being English, I cannot be smug about what you've just said because I live in Canada and, as a result, am withheld from all the shows I adore.

  • @Heneruuree How so? Does Canada not get BBC?

  • @Elitepear Oh it does. Just not on my TV. Le sigh. Ah well, this is what the internet is for.

  • @Elitepear You know...before you listed those shows, I've always thought you Americans had it better..but yes....I guess we are pretty damn lucky. On the plus side you have shows like The Mentalist and NCIS

  • Part of why the series is so awesome is the music.... hopefully they'll release an official soundtrack at some point. I know I'll definitely buy it.

  • @Doryphoroi Thats half the reason, other half is how BRILLIANT of a rendition it is. They hit the mark right on. This series and Mr. Bretts are the BEST!

  • I bloody love this show!!!!

  • @lol34521325647 yes, this show reminds me of home, though :(

  • Cool medley... peut-être à améliorer s'ils se décident à sortir la soundtrack sur CD... On se croise les doigts! ^^

  • @funnydog11 Pourquoi pas! :)

  • @funnydog11 Ouais ça serait une bonne idée !!!

  • I ♥ Sherlock in this serial ! :)
