I like the opportunity I'm given here to see different approaches to the problem with chihuahuas...I'm no expert but I'm led to understand that chihuahuas are the 5th most returned breed the kennels of last resort see. In this coastal town, they've twice had special combination adoption offers for pit bulls/chihuahuas as sort of a funny contrast in sizes in their advertising on public airwaves. And they're quite successful, and still full; they keep coming.
