ALSO, I just read your description, and I thought you were going to bring up something I thought I heard in a small conference before they started the set.
Before they came out onstage, they were in a circle off to the side, and I saw them all put their hands into the middle of the circle and yell "1-2-3-FREEDOM!!!" and then run out on stage.

I have to agree. I've seen them 8 times, and this is definitely among the top 3, even if they didn't get the full hour of headlining play. They played the shit out of shoreline.
Not to mention the guys in the pit were awesome.

yeah they were for sure having that conversation. i had asked tom earlier in the day to play "we laugh at danger" and he does not deny a request. he is one of the coolest people alive. this was one of the best half hour sets of music i have seen in my entire life.
