I think Billy of today needs to be taken back in a time machine to have a meeting with this Billy, or MCIS Billy. because something seemed to snap at Adore, that hasn't resolved since.. :/

oh my god so true, it was all so beautiful. then it went to not bad, to okay, to mediocre, then their newest cd... just bad. But honestly I think it is just that Billy has probably changed and his life has changed... he will most likely never be back to his old stuff.

It's still the same man known as Billy Corgan, but long-haried Billy Corgan of'95 is long gone and no, he couldn't ever 'recapture' the Siamese Dream-era sound even if he tried.

And why would he want to? He's not in his 20's anymore.

what caused that 'snap' in Adore was his divorce, his mother dying, a friend's death and his bestfriend's termination from his band.

Adore is acquired taste, I can understand why most people didn't like it. personally though I've never heard an album with such a pure tribute to loss. the rawness of that album makes me cry

Uh, something snapped during Adore, because his mother died, he went through a very tramatic expierance with his mother dying a painful unjust death due to cancer.. also he kicked Jimmy out of the band because he was usin drugs..
