thank you for saying conneting rod and not push rod or piston rod!!!! thank you man i love you lol so happy to finally find one other person that knows wtf he is talking about and not just talking a bunch of bs becasue he learned in class explosion make piston move in the tube.
@TheJdas0425 they dont have piston rings. they have oil groves. they are too small to make a legit piston ring and dowel pin to keep the ring from spinning and catching the ports.
this just explain... sort of , wat THE PARTS do. not how the ENGINE works.... heres a question. is a nitro engine a naturally aspirated engine or not?
tune daily, replace the piston and sleeve every 5 years and the connecting rod every other piston and sleeve change. and the crang if it has "hot spots" on it. hope that helps. :)
people tried it before but they needed these fancy compression adjustment heads so they could change the comression while the engine ran. too complicated. makes mines brain hurted.
yeah, you got a little engine with like 1:18 compression and you need to lower it when it heats up because the piston expands and just makes it higher. i dont want to blow any up. yet. hehe. ill try it when i get a dummy engine sometime.
found a dummy engine. it a tower hobbys engine. its a .15 just a little smaller than the one in my x cellerator. i cant stick my pinky in the cylinder of the x cellerator.
WHEN DID PISTON RINGS TAKE A DOLL PIN?

ITS WORKS LIKE A DIESEL 2 STROKE, ONLY IT RUNS ON NITRO!!! SIMPLE AS THAT

@gt4driftster it can be supercharged but it really screws up the scavenging process by alot. they have a natural boos as all 2 strokes do.

very informative, how much maintenance do nitro engines need

Sweet. Mix diesel and nitro together and see if you get more torque! Diesel=torque nitr=HP...Prolly wont work LOL

No need to change compression. Try it.
