  • my question is this fag.. alison cuper rich boy from manhattan , ever work a day in his puta life? plant a tree, build a house, plant a garden

  • Like father, like son.......they are both racist bastards. Ron Paul is a 77 y/o Old Racist Bastard, and he and his community have taught Rand Paul well.

  • @Born2Flesh shutup asshole...you got nothing on Dr Paul...just a main stream media panderer

  • that was cute

  • Obama & Biden disliked this

  • Rand needs to get his shit together. He needs to take on ron pauls supporters and continue the liberty movement beyond 2012, but his comprosmises with the republican party are NOT good...

  • @cube9887 Your a dickhead.

  • I love Rand's Dad Ron but I really wish Rand would run for president. I would vote for Rand in a New York minute. I am voting Ron Paul in 2012 because Rand is not running.

  • @DizziNY1 You never know...Ron might pick his son as VP if he wins :)

  • @M0xnewsdotcom MOx-- I pray so. I would love a Father Son Presidency, especially these 2. President Ron Paul and Vice President Rand Paul.. I like the sound of that.

  • I'm interested to see if the new libertarian leaning members of the house and senate will challenge the GOP on their many hypocrisies, particularly their affinity for dabbling in social control; prohibition of drugs, legal discrimination against gays etc. I would have a great deal more respect for men like Ron and Rand if they boldly stood up for true personal liberty as well as the financial liberties that will mainly benefit those already well off.

  • @PossessDismiss

    They do. :)

  • it's a good day for this country with both Paul's in congress

  • Rand Paul needs to distance himself from the tea party movement if he wants to reach the greatness of his father. I'm a Democrat, but I have great respect for Republican Libertarians.

Republicans and Democrats both have valid points of view. Don't let your party be run by crazy fringe movements!

  • EPIC!!

Lets allow two presidents at once.

I think in this case it would work to an amazing advantage in a few ways.

  • Ron Paul: please run 2012. We will work tirelessly to walk, canvas, call, rally for your election. We will STOP our own reckless spending in our own homes. We know this is a tough job, but we will continue to work for you after you are in office, this is the biggest job in the history of our country. But we believe in you. We will write to reps and tell them to STOP spending our money, STOP taking away our freedoms and liberties, STOP Unconstitutional ruling, STOP destroying us with debt.

  • It's so cool that as father and son they could be on at the same time.

  • Do they pray to the AquaBudda?

  • @IG2HI Aqua Buddah rocks!!

  • Rand is just new. The man hasn't held public office yet. Ron has been a politician for 30 years...he's talked to every media source, he's heard every argument against his positions, he's learned how to play the game. Rand will get better as he gets more experience, but he's got the same resources Ron started with - honesty, principle, and precision of language.

  • I kinda dislike Rand Paul. DEFINITELY not the kind of great guy Ron is.

  • @LaughingMage Philosophically they are the same. So in what way don't you like Rand?

  • @LaughingMage Ron and Rand r awesome!

  • But won't forcing the federal government to balance it's budget just encourage it to inflate the monetary supply? Shouldn't it be necessarily connected to monetary reform otherwise it'll lead to disaster through monetary manipulation?

  • @Reckless3057 I think their point is that being as Congress has the constitutional authority to print money (We can print our own damn money), there is no reason to sub-contract this job to the federal reserve (A conglomeration of private banks) and have to borrow from them at Interest when we could have just printed it ourselves in the first place at 0 interest! Forcing the budget to be balanced would at least eliminate the problem of snowballing debt. It's a step in the right direction

  • if we could put either of these guys in the white house, the globalists will shit their pants. we can win, we are winning, and we will continue to win. the constitution is way to powerfull to be shoved aside

  • if compromising on the welfare state is bad, its retarded to claim that a government should see themselves as not believing in welfare

  • British Petroleum: Rand Paul is awesom!

  • @platano1742 , stop regurgitating media talking points... Rand Paul simply said the president is harder on BP then on Iran and North Korea. BP made a huge mistake...and they will pay for it.

  • By Anderson's standards, "compromise" ALWAYS means compromising our fundamental constitutional rights on EVERY LEVEL.

The US Constitution is NOT up for 'compromise'. The sentences which end with "-shall not be infringed." (and similar) end with a PERIOD.

BTW: Sara DOES have "qualities" that people CAN buy. I am worried about her affiliation with McCain, yeah, the "enemy belligerent" act guy who wants to strip US Citizens of all rights upon arbitrary "suspicion" of ANYTHING opposing gov .

  • Watch my explanation on Rand Pauls views

    /watch?v=R7Y4slGQPBo

  • Establishment lapdog Anderson Cooper inferred Rand & Ron are part of the " polarization" in DC. leading into to challenging their ability to " compromise " when reality is both parties are moire similar than different , so when ever ANYBODY challenges the status Quo , they are labeled bcs both parties are scared stiff , losing power and monopoly . T Party is not the answer to everything but if we don't get more choices , more ideas counter to CFR propaganda CNN pimps daily , we are in trouble

  • The Dynamic Duo! =D now it's kick-ass time! =D

  • Rand has got some good political instincts. Every single question Anderson asked was designed to catch him up.

For example, it is NOT POSSIBLE that anyone would think Rand believes Palin would be his choice for president. These aren't real questions... they are snares veiled as questions.

  • GUYS, calm yourselves down. Rand *has* to say these things to win the race. He has to appeal to the electorate. C'mon, he's got a campaign strategy and has to follow it to appeal to the masses. Cut him some slack!!

  • what do ron and rand NOT agree on?

  • Sarah Palin a "great president" really? Eww.

  • We have B.O. as president, remember? I Think anyone would be better.

  • @RobertCornhole Easy. He was put in a spot and he had to say that to win the support of the masses.

  • Ron Paul Rand Paul 2012

  • rand does have a nice southern drawl

  • 4:03

I just lost most of my respect for Rand Paul

  • @aweiss I'd have to agree with you on that. I don't think his dad would have said that but I think he realizes that he needed her endorsement.

  • My head just exploded because of the awesomeness of this interview.

  • she supported Perry.

  • Endorsing John McCain is not a good political move for Rand Paul, not if he sees himself as a Constitutional Conservative. John McCain is one of the most moderate Republicans and not supported by The Tea Party movement, his challenger J.D. Hayworth is!

  • Once Rand gets to the senate, Palin's endorsement is irrelevant.

  • i find rand paul disgusting for saying palin could be a good president.... but i still love ron

  • Could be, with the right advisers maybe. Overall Rand is way better than most out there.

  • I will not be supporting Rand any longer while he endorses Palin. Palin is NO different then Bush and Obama.

  • Rand saying Palin would "make a great President" is sickening. Palin can't be bought? SHE IS ALREADY BOUGHT AND PAID FOR! Shame on you Rand for helping Neo-cons usurp the Liberty movement

  • We need more people in Govt. like these two. Ron and Carol raised Rand well.

LESS government = LESS corruption = LESS waste = MORE control over our own monies and therefore more control over our own LIVES.

  • Go Rand! If Sarah endorses you, you got my support as well. We need you guys, Constitutional Conservatives, to fight the common foe in 2010 and especially in 2012! Let's unite our forces for the common goal: responsible, effective government: government of the people, by the people and for the people as Lincoln summed it up. USA! God bless America! God bless Ron and Rand!

God bless Sarah! God bless USA!

  • What the fuck has happened here?

  • I really hope Rand Paul wins his Senate race. I am, however, disappointed he said Palin is qualified to be President. I know he was put on the spot and Anderson Cooper was going to press it until he got an answer. Why didn't Rand answer, "I don't know yet" or something like that?

  • Rand Paul did not say that Palin is qualified to be president. What he said was: "Yeah I think Sarah Palin could be a great president." The key word in that quote is 'could.'

  • @RonPaul2008dotcomluv no she couldnt. you can apply that stupid logic to any person. the fact is she is an ignoramus and i hope rand paul doesnt really mean that.

  • Go Rand Paul we need you in congress!

  • Senate, not Congress.

  • I had an underlying feeling about Rand Paul and now it has been confirmed. He is not principled and has shown that he can compromise. I could never trust him, he is playing the political game, he is just like Obama. I can't even listen to him now.

  • He said that he thinks Palin could make a good president.

I get the position that he's in... but he should have either dodged it or politely said no. I doubt he actually believes she could make a good president.

  • I can't stand that Ron & Rand are so fucking Christian and goodie and shit. I know.. they don't wear it on their sleeve, etc. It just pisses me off.

  • Way to go Rand!

Palin's public endorsement of Rand Paul is a calculated move on the part of the GOP to make the good doctor look more like an "insider" to all those tea party voters - and more like a "right wing lunatic" to those on the left.

The mainstream media then tries to set a trap, and cause Rand's campaign some trouble by trying to get him to say something negative about Palin - it's win-win for the left, and for the GOP...but Dr. Paul steered around the trap beautifully!

    Bravo!

  • the one and only thing libertarians have in common with democrats is that they both hate America.

  • Actually Libertarian means you believe in Liberty. How is that un American, when that was what the country was founded upon? The founding fathers warned us about so many things that the establishment globalists are doing to the country. For example the dollar is about to collapse.

  • Anderson Cooper is such a douche,

innuendo one ear and out the other

  • Rand doesn't seem like his dad

  • The best part of this interview is when the host pointed out that the GOP establishment does not support Rand Paul.

The GOP establishment supported DEDE SCOZZAFAVA, for goodness sake!!!

It is a badge of honor to get support from the Tea Party movement rather than the GOP establishment.

  • I am a Kentuckian and a conservative and Rand Paul has my vote.

  • @preclovis - I wish I could vote for Rand (I dont live in Kentucky) I have donated to him vigorously though.

All I can say is Kentucky dont let us down!!! so far looks like Rand has it in the bag

  • I wish he didn't say Sarah Palin could be a great President.

Also, it seems like this video was very edited. I wander what was cut.

  • I agree completely!! I was hoping he would just say "Hell No she wouldnt make a great president." I bet Ron would. And I wonder about the cuts too. It seemed like a very short choppy interview. Something surely even CNN wouldnt do.

  • I loved it! There's absolutely nothing wrong or false by saying that Palin COULD be a great President... anyone has the possibility to be great. What would be a more fun question would be "What chance is there that Palin would make a great president?" or "is there a high chance"

  • she supports Rick Perry.......she is a shill

  • If you had your choice, would you prefer that Sarah Palin cancelled her endorsement of Rand Paul?

  • honestly, i wish it had never happened..Taking back an endorsement gives the impression that something is wrong with Paul. But supporting Perry and Paul in 1 week....

I like Rand so far, but he has to prove that he is what he says he is. I just will keep my eyes open

  • Rand has two very good things going for him. and Being young and being a pretty good public speaker. Who knows, IF he wins in the senate race maybe he runs for President in 2016 or 2020. :)

  • @goodbadugly16

    2016- t0o late...

  • to tell you the truth, Rand Paul does not give out the same vibe as his dad ... Rand to me seems like white obama with no political history to judge which is great because this will make him get to the senate quickly and then possibly become the president in 7 years or so... i don't have anything against the guy but i think it would be wise to watch for who endorses him to know what his agenda is going to be

  • what is white obama?

  • just like obama , the only difference is that he's white and that he's the obama of the conservatives instead of liberals... that is the story we're supposed to believe

  • i agree.....

  • Obama had a political history. It's just a lot of people choose to ignore it and,as for Rand Paul,if he gets to the senate,he'll have a voting record which we can judge. If he is what he claims,we'll find out.

  • yes that is true... time will tell

  • I totally agree, he's playing the game a bit to win, even though its a tough pill to swallow, Palin contaminates the message of freedom because shes a neo con fool, but as long as she helps spread Rands platform its worth it till further events arise.

  • Maybe Rand should distance himself a little from Palin. She is a polarizing figure of questionable motives. She could be a great President? No way.

  • She could be! And then again she could be the worst ever. COULD...

I could be the next American Idol!

  • I agree. It pains me how quickly and easily people here try to dismiss his entire candidacy over this, THIS!

And just as a side point, its not as if you are facing a better option. DOUBT is the tool the opposition uses to keep you from going to the ballot box.

  • @iwglwglwg

cant agree with you more she would be a horrible president she cant even namethe founding fathers on a glenn beck show. I like how it was a trap by Cooper to get Rand in a sticky situation trying to discredit him to liberals and independents.

He's playing the game a bit and I hope it works, because you know when he gets in he will clean house......wow! a new concept,..

Lie to the politicians/bias media to get elected, then reign freedom from the inside.

  • @lwglwglwg ....DITTO!

  • @lwglwglwg Think about how much better off the world would be if we all just pretended that Sarah Palin doesn't actually exist.

  • rand .. .palin support NEOCON ESTABLISHMENT mccain and perry. how can you say she is NOT supporting the establishment?

  • Because Rand is not part of the establishment. So unless Rand wants to appear to be part of that he can't criticize her on that.

  • Too bad Rand Paul isn't as good as his father.

  • Politically, he is head over heels better than his father in my eyes. But, I love Ron Paul for who he is. I'm glad Rand is his own man!

  • The endorsement is quite awkward to Rand I think . You have to say it is quite smart move by Palin

  • Pragmatists will always throw the baby out with the bathwater. With a pragmatist, we will eventually lose all of our freedoms. Pragmatists have no principles whatsoever.

  • Sarah Palin would be Bush in a dress.

  • Obama is Bush...no dress necessary.

  • AustinW90, Now,you given me this image of Bush in a dress. Not very pretty. Thanks for that

  • I think he lied about his thinking Palin would be a good president.

  • I think he sees Palin as a question mark. She is someone with a lot of mainstream republican views, but who in Alaska frequently took on the state's political establishment. Also, many of her endorsements have gone to anti-establishment republicans. She's no Rand Paul or Peter Schiff, but, assuming that Ron Paul is'nt our nominee she might turn out to be better than we expect. Anyway, she's better than Obama.

  • Plus we have to be realists, if there is no other viable candidate I will take her instead of Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani or Mike Huckabee any time! Of course Gary Johnson will be better, but for now Sarah Palin looks more electable.I think one of those two as president and the other as VP will be great team.

  • that is the trap.....that people would take her over other people

  • I agree, but domestically she isn't so bed, or at least not as bad as Bush. We will never going to get the perfect president, because each of us have a different opinion of what constitutes the perfect president.

  • im not looking for perfect. i am however looking for someone who does not advocate blowing the crap out of Iran, or anyone else for that matter, because they "may" pose a threat. her foreign policy will nullify any domestic policy

  • I saw Gary Johnson's interview on ReasonTV. I also like him and hope he runs. As for Palin,my primary problem with her is in the area of foreign policy where she unfortunately is interventionist to the core. In domestic policy there's hope. She was an early voice against Obamacare and I think she can be counted on to oppose tax increases, but as of now I'm taking a wait and see attitude. I'd like to see the details to her policy plans.

  • My main problem with Palin is that there is nothing there. Nothing. She is completely hollow. It's just a veneer. And then the veneer is also a problem, especially in regards to foreign policy, etc.

  • Rand Paul is not as tough as his father on some fundamental issues.

  • Rand Paul agrees with his dad on just about everything. He's not a clone. He can't be expected to see eye to eye with him all the time. If he did he would'nt be particularly independent. Besides,Ron Paul has never won a state wide race. His son just might.

  • @sleedolfine15 Rand Paul also seemingly disagree with his dad on foreign policies issue, praising neo-con bitch Palin, so we will see, looks like it's just more of the same from Rand.

  • I don't think that they are much at odds on foreign policy. He seems to embrace a noninterventionist foreign policy and like his dad he believes that congress should've had a vote on whether or not to declare war on Iraq and Afghanistan. Unless I'm mistaken, like his father,Rand would've voted yes on Afghanistan and no on Iraq. Also, like Ron,Rand opposes sanctions on Iran. Their biggest disagreement is on the issue of prisoner detainees. Rand seems to favor military tribunals & Ron does'nt.

  • Compromise does happen. He's right, it usually means, spend money instead of not spend money or give up some rights for some security. Oh, if you think making me jump through hoops to get my gun will lower crime somehow, I'll do it, things like that. They never compromise in the way of thrift and liberty.

  • I'd settle for a President that's a little less eager to shoot people :)

  • I would wager that the only President no to hunt ever was Obama.

  • where we he do it in the streets of chicago, kenya perhaps??? who cares??? someone like you doesnt deserve a 2nd Amendment

  • BluSkies 360's point, to which I commented on, was he/she wants a President that doesn't shoot animals. Palin has killed wolves to cull them, I'm not making a judgment on that practice. My point is all the Presidents have killed animals except, I might be wrong on this, President Obama.

My dignity as a human being is to be able to defend myself with lethal force, if I had to. And with righteous indignation I can tell you that not you, not Obama, can judge to take that away:P

    Jump of a bridge.

  • We tea partiers must RUN, not walk away from empty shell Neocon Sarah Palin.

  • Bo her when she shows up!

  • Rand Paul moneybomb on March 23rd !

    Pledge at winrandwin(.)com

  • If the Republican Party could be led by Ron Paul, I'd be overjoyed.

  • Sarah Palin would not make a great president. She supports Israel's policies. She is for the establishment.

  • LOL. Can Sara Palin be a good president? Just say NO. It's ok. No one really believes she can be a good president.

  • @LibertyOrBust He's playing politics, he doesn't have a choice. His opponent would kill him if he said no.

  • Yeah you are right. I almost replied to myself on that. In that respect Rand has a chance at having a more productive career than Ron. He is willing to play ball just a little bit. Still a sad state of affairs when he has to stomach saying Palin would make a good president.

  • @LibertyOrBust Yeah well he's running in Kentucky. If Rand was running in NH or Nevada it would be a totally different ball game.

  • Yeah, you can tell that hurt, but one of his reasons was "She supported me, so that shows some good taste" not in those words.

  • You bet-cha!

  • 4:00 Sarah Palin could be a great President? WHAT!!!! I couldn't disagree more!!!

Rand where is your head boy?? She is a flaming Neocon and she supports Rick Perry over Debra Medina for Gov of TX. She is fighting the Constitutional Republican for the NWO establishment candidate.

On another note I support RON PAUL for President 2012!!!!

  • thx for the upload

  • Ron Paul 2012!
