Why is god killing so many people, presently, in Africa? Why is jesus NOT helping to feed the poor? According to his alleged special book, jesus was for the Poor, and for Children, but he isn't doing anything for them in Africa. Why is that? Every Sunday during football season, we are told that jesus intervenes to decide the victor of every game. Why is jesus not intervening to save the lives of Africans? Why does god hate the people of Africa? Why is god so hateful and jesus so callous?

@TheMJtheGOD God gave you and I the ability to eliminate extreme poverty in our world (including Africa) but we prefer to keep as much wealth as we can for ourselves and ignore what's happening outside of our little bubble, so don't blame God. It's also important to understand that our physical lives are very temporary and for God death isn't a bad thing. Again, we turn everything around to make it all about us. As for the Sunday football thing, that's just silly and hardly worth commenting on.

I just like to share my experience....may be it will help you understand why Some people seems crazy about Jesus when things don't make sense at all.

I had many questions that ppl cannot answer...but all I realized was Jesus came to give us life more abundantly.

FOOD can satisfy us only in this temporary life....he wanted us to give us enternal life where his creation can be with him and love him.....to gain eternal life this is what he said we must do:

I used to have many questions that I coudn't find the answer....but still I decided to get baptism and born again.

here's why; Jesus said " i have come to give life more abundantly. How so? many people are starving to death...

Jesus didn't come to provide an answer for Food...which will only satisfy us in this temporary life.

Instead he wanted to give us eternal life...that anyone can have access to including the poor.

The commandment was simple: "love one another as your self and love God (Creator) with all your heart, your soul, and mind" - -- even a starving person who will die without food have access to eternal life because all what that person need is a pure heart.

But why believe in Jesus? when there are many other poeple who have provided good teachings?

Lastly, I don't think God hates the ppl of Africa. On the day of Judgement I am sure Africans will be justified than the Americans who are able to eat 3 times....because Westerners have so much but give little to poor...and "Western ppl doesn't even give thanks to the LORD for what they have!

@warbat412 Actually , Jesus made it extremely clear that he was divine. For example when he says "I am the way, the truth and the life. No-one comes to the father except through me." there's no question that he's not just another prophet. The idea that Jesus wasn't regarded as divine is primarily fueled by movies like The DaVinci Code and Zeitgeist, both of which are laughed at even by secular scholars for their poor research.

@fromyemen You're absolutely right but exactly what ethnicity Jesus was doesn't really matter. Glad you're interested in learning more about him! When you read about who he was and what he taught, you'll find that he claimed to be more than a prophet...he was God in human form. If you choose not to pay any attention to what he actually taught then a more recent prophet than Jesus might make sense to you but it may also mean that you need to spend more time just investigating the life of Jesus.

Many of us who believe in Issa will ask that you try to rather seek Him for who He is, and not to base your opinion on what you see in westerners.
