relax these things cant kill you at all unless you have an allergic reaction, i live in Australia and most of summer there is thousands in the water, i dont think ive made it through a year without being stung atleast 3 times. one even wrapped around my neck, they cant sting your fingertips so you just pull it off and ignore the pain, dont even hurt that much actually.
