@mizzLAgymnast93 you are right on the aspect of too hot or two cold. but leather is pretty comfortable when its not in the extremes, and we have been killing animals for thousands of years. i have owned boots made of man made leather and they fell apart while i have a pair of dress shoes that are over 10 years old that are still fine. i'll look into micro suade but otherwise i'm getting leather if it's an option.

@csclsoccer testing to failure means they start low and increase until it is ruined. It's the only way to find out exactly what it can take before it does fail. Any leather will be ruined at high enough temperatures, abrasion, puncture force, etc.

My brother had a 2000 Honda Accord Coupe with leather, and the leather is thin, and feels ashy now due to bad quality of the leather. My sister has a 1999 Lexus ES.
