  • beautiful ... thank you

  • That was beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing. I lost my father last year to cancer, this song made me cry. My father was an avowed atheist, so I am not sure if I will see him in heaven, but I am hoping. Thank you again for sharing and God Bless.

  • This is a lovely tribute to your Dad. Thanks for sharing. My Mom recently transitioned & I pray & hope that we will all have the opportunity for a Blessed reunion; when our Own Personal Journey is Completed. GOD BLESS US ALL!

  • for others out there who feel down in their most bitter days, with hope.

  • Although I'd never knew him as a father, a brother, a son or a friend; this tribute has emotionally touched me because it really awakened me from all the great memories I've shared in the past. I always have a tendency to dwell on the past, something that quietly demotivates me for my future but it's just something we all have to live with. Somedays we don't want to grow up so quickly to see ourselves lose somebody we've learnt to love so truly as a child. I wish you joy and

  • I like the pic of you hangin on to your dads neck...what a great shot. Your dad seems to have been alot of fun to be with. I am sorry for your loss....but time does heal things...

  • I write through tears of both sadness and joy. I lost my Father December 2005, my Dad had a nine year affair with cancer the last year being the worst for him. During the last few months of his life friends that came to visit Dad said "how can someone who is dying lift our SPIRITS when really we should be lifting his" well that was my DAD and how he lived his life everyday <3 His SPIRIT LIVES FOREVER!

  • i still have a dad and a mom but i always think about what it would be without them thank you for this song god bless you

  • my dad dies whe i was 12 years old.

    i am 16 now.

this song was played at his funeral.

i cry everytime i hear it.

  • My brother died May 31st, 2008.. They played this song at his funeral along with a slide show. He was 21 and killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanastan. He was supposed to be coming home next week... "this is not at all how it was supposed to be..."

  • Many BLESSINGS sent your way... look and you will find footprints he has left for you, know he is OK <3

  • So sorry about your loss

  • I am sorry for your loss. I am very glas you posted this video. Ya see, me and my dad dont always get along. I love the man dearly. He has been the longest AND ONE OF THE BEST example of what a Christian man SHOULD BE. I need to drop my prideful crap and just love the old guy. Thank you so much

  • Hi Friend. I know what its like to not get along with a parent. My mom and I don't see eye to eye on much. I was always Daddy's girl- and I lost him to cancer back in 2002. Knowing what I know now- and this song- I humbly encourage you to do what you said here-drop your prideful crap and just love the old guy. I do that with my mom- as hard as it is.

But I also know- how hard it will be after they pass on. I wish you all the best FormerADTMan. God Bless you.

  • I'm very sorry for your loss. They played this song at my grandma's funeral and now everytime I hear it, it makes me cry, think of her, and have hope all at the same time.

  • I want to say first that I'm sorry for your loss. I was out clothes shopping and this song was playing. It reminds me of my Great Grandpa who died a little over a month ago. I was his first Great Grandchild. It hurts so much even though I know I will see him again one day in Heaven because both him and I are Blood Bought Born Again Belivers...I've had to stop typing because of how much this makes me cry. Thankyou for this slide show

  • I enjoyed your slide show and am sorry for your loss. I was looking for this song to put on my blog for my Friday Favorites. God bless.

  • Hey, thanks for posting this. My pastor went to heaven a few years ago and this song brought a lot of hope and comfort to me and the rest of my church. May God bless you and your family and keep you guys. We will see them again one day, your father and my pastor!

  • This song was played at my Dad's going home celebration. His name is "Andy." He had esophageal cancer and I got to be by his side when he died. This song is so dear to me. Now he's home and now he's free.

  • This one's for you dad...

  • My mother went to heaven just yesterday morning... this song is a real comfort to me now...

  • I recently lost my grandfather, who was my father figure. I love this song and looked it up on youtube, and found your video. I simply wanted to thank you, and let you know we are connected by our grief. There will be a day that we will be reunited with our loved ones. Thank you for your fantastic tribute to your father. I still have tears in my eyes. May God bless you and your family.

    -M

  • You made a great choice on this song. It is amazing. Steven Curtis Chapman hits home so well. It looks as though you have a lot of great memories. Hope and memories are what we have left when we lose those who are close to us. There is hope. Keep lookin' up.

  • Thanks so much, this song has provided me with so much comfort. Thanks for watching

  • Songs won't let you forget. It's ok to cry. I can see how making these videos would give you comfort. Keep at it and keep looking up.
