People complain becasue we wait a freakin year to buy the game because we're wrestling fans, and these thq guys never get it right for once. I would love to buy a new wwe game, but they keep putting out half-assed, lackluster games, and the fans deserve better. We have to constantly wait another year and another, you would think these game developers would know something about game development, and give the fans who wait so long what they deserve, a good wrestling game.

The game doesn't necassarily have to be everything i wanted, but i feel that after all these years we are definetly not getting the best game we should be getting. Look at wwe games from 7 or 8 yeears ago, and compare them to todays games, not much progress. We shouldn't have to settle, the game developers should be making way better games than they are.

My only argument is that the games are decent, and a good wrestling game is too difficult to make to be too harsh when it comes to judging them, in my opinion. Unfortunately, we do have to settle because it's their creation - trust me if I could make the perfect wrestling game I would, wouldn't you? Maybe, they purposely hold out on us, cause they know many of us will still go out and buy the game even if it isn't that good. But i disagree, a good wrestling isn't difficult to make, they have made many wonderful wrestling games in the past like here comes the pain, no mercy, and original svr. My problem is that they stopped, they stopped moving forward and stopped making good games. Now they just churn out the same old crap every year and we have to wait yet another year.
@SamFan93 I think the industry as a whole has plateaued. They can't really move too much more forward until the next-gen systems to be released - we just simply don't have the power in the consoles yet.
In my opinion they really haven't moved forward since they started putting out games for the 360 and ps3. Things were better back in the smackdown series from 1999-2004, they made great games that kept getting better, then just like real wwe they got lazy.

Thats why I'm personally excited for this game because it's my first wrestling game in forever. But again I don't think you should mistake the inability to push the technology much further for laziness. I think they just have a lot of issues with the hardware of the 360 and PS3 that holds them back. Food for thought.
