Guys, I know you hate people like this, but I've created a "warp glitch" (if you will) that uses 4 pistons to warp you to ANY level of height in Minecraft. Go check it out on my channel! It's easy and MUCH smaller and less complicated. Thanks guys :D

@jamesbwatt I built this design probably about 2 months ago on my world. The elevator is from my underground fort to the surface, It's probably like 150 blocks tall. Now, the problem. Every so often, it doesn't work. So, I head up manually to look at it and LIKE HALF OF THE STAIRS AND REDSTONE is missing! Wool is gone, repeaters gone, etc. Any idea why?

@WiederDude I looked it up. Not better, just alternative design. Too many pistons if you ask me, and I even can see it lagging on the way down, and maybe on the way up in the middle. The best elevator would be the one with the least of wiring and pistons, I think this one ( /watch?v=wKWSlce8jWw ) just doesn't fit in that requirement, still not bad elevator.

I love the video because every Zip elevator I seen has alot of redstone torch's. But in this vid there is none.But I see a problem with this one elevator you built you should of built a diffrent section to it so you can go down instead of falling through water,signs or ladders. If your at the top build a diffrent section with a button so you can go down. Other then that said I like it very easy to build and the dude explaining does not bull crap about it alot he talks about it I give thumbs

@lilwelshy5 You could make it support multiple floors, but it would require some complicated wiring. This one is more like if you want to go fast up to one location.

@FuckinFreakFelix Water serves as a break, and you don't fall with lethal speed towards the ground, instead the water resets it back to 0 or 1.

@XziledRealm you placed the water 1 too high so you still take damage. Place it on the 3rd block above the ground to get no damage.

For it to work better in 1.8.1 and above, set all delays to 4, instead of 3. When set to 3, I would get stuck in the middle 9/10 times. On 4, I haven't been stuck once. Thanks for the vid and download!

@bobby1302rch Well speed isn't an issue in SP on your computer, but on a server with lots of people more speed, more resources, more lag. Having in mind that stuff basic as minecarts lags the system, you can imagine what a Hi-Tech elevator might do :P ,besides most of the time I present a possibility to control the speed.

@Tidzwiggle Well I don't know, maybe, it has many pistons working, so... but there is no clocks or repeating process beside the one time activation, so in theory it should work. In practice someone should test it. I imagine if you put the on the slower speed would be better. ((If you read my previous comment/here sorry for that I was looking at my server edition while I was writing this.))
