  • learn to steal then its all free ,,fuck society

  • I'd bet she spends more than "a couple of hours" each week doing this.

I've found that most good coupons are for things I wouldn't buy in the first place.

  • Nice savings, but a majority of the things those kinds of coupons cover are all junk. That pantry she had wasn't stocked with the healthiest of foods. I'm surprised her family is as thin as it is. I hope she uses the money she saves to splurge on fresh fruits and veggies!

  • It's very bad food for her family, if I were her I'd rather find a job that pays and can buy my family healthy, fresh food

  • FAKE

  • WANT TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE? Stop pronouncing it 'CUE-PON'!!!!!!! LEARN TO SAY 'KOO-PON' - especially if you are as obsessed with coupons as Cathy Spencer is. After saying 'KOO-pon' while writing out the word 'coupon' about five or ten times, go back and listen to Cathy's irritating pronunciation 'CUE-pon' over and over and over. Am I getting through to anyone? Yeah, we all want to learn how to save a buck, but please, stop torturing our ears with your ignorant pronunciations!

  • @GigglinHamster Both pronunciations are correct. The pronunciation of certain words will vary depending on where you live. The people in the city I live in pronounce coupon exactly like she does. Some people pronounce almond like "all-mond" others as "ah-mond" . Some people pronounce often as "offen", and others say "off-ten". What's ignorant is assuming that everyone speaks exactly like you.

  • @milomilo55 Yeah but the word coupon is actually a French word (derived from the root word "coupe" (pronounced "koop") which means "cut"...hence why coupons are usually things you cut out) and thus the proper pronunciation is actually "koop-on". Just because a large number of people pronounce something a certain way doesn't automatically make it a correct alternative.

  • i should do that for now on

  • I always want to ask these extreme couponers: Do you worry about scurvy? Seems to be a lot of junk food and no fruits or vegetables.

I use coupons as well, but mostly on toiletries. I spend an hour a week reading flyers and matching coupons. I could only use about $10 of coupons plus sale savings. She must have spent at least 2-3 hours per day!

If you spend 20 hours saving $100, you are working under minimum wage.

  • A ltof stores want double

  • @K1NGD0MDOWN hey listen here that's a good deal for food and food is expensive unless like other stuff she has to pay so shut up and stop being a hater so guess how much you pay for your house Rent and bills a lot, so this video is for showing people other ways to save money and not become homeless like you and how would you fell if some one ban you from a store you like and called you a bitch you jerk

  • Don't you guys understand about saving money? And well if you use them all up you have nothing to do or become homeless and at least she has a real job and the comment under me is retarded

  • ban that bitch from the shop

  • I don't have the time for all that math

  • she shall be banned from using coupons or be banned from entering the store.

  • this bitch is the cashiers worst nightmare. and well done to all the trailer trash like her for holding up queues and making us wait longer. grrrrrr.

  • THATS BULL SHIT ONLY ON TV THAT I LIVE IN NEW YORK U CAN ONLY USE ONE FUCKING COUPON ON ONLY ITEM

  • That will be cool if it is in Europe to.

  • i want to see her do that at mac cosmetics for me they never have sales

  • I use coupons, but never on food. The food coupons are almost always on junk. I rarely use coupons because the stuff i buy are items that supposed to last a while like interchangeable razors and bottles of lotion. At the most, i spent three hours on coupons and that's maybe twice a month. This woman at least spends 15 hrs a week. Some couponers go up to 40 a week. I rather work and interact with people.

  • id rather just rob a bank

  • ok description says 4 dollars a week but bottom description says 4 dollars a month haha

  • What did she get to eat? And it cost her for the coupons.

  • time is money...sure she saved 260$ but at what time cost i know i wouldnt want to spent 10 or 20 hours clipping and strategizing my shopping trip

  • is there a point if most of these foods don't get eaten if they become expired...

  • she could use this skill for a food bank, but instead it goes into a hoard

  • It's cheap but it's all crap!

  • Where are these stores that supposedly double coupons? I haven't seen one yet, nor have I seen a store that accepts two coupons for one item.

  • @naturesgateway As far as I know, Cvs, Walgreens, Walmart, and Target let's you "stack" coupons, 2 coupon for 1 item, only 1 manufacturer coupon + 1 store coupon, but usually there are limits and policies you have to abide by when couponing. Usually stores says it lets you double through weekly ads and websites or you just have to ask if they can double or triple your coupon value, "double coupon" and "triple coupon", is what that means. :]

  • One question: how much time does she spend to read infos and get coupons? How much time does she spend to go in ten different superkmarkets to benefit from coupons? How much can she earn working the same amount of time according to its qualifications? One has to substract this from the stockpile of stuff she got, because this is also a cost. And one simple conclusion arises, the more time it takes and the more she can earn per hour, and, the less it becomes interesting.

  • @andyoupretendtoknow It doesn't take that long to get coupons -.- (internet, magazines etc.) Once you find the best market to use the coupons it should only take about an hour to 2 hours especially with all of the printable coupons online.

  • i find her stash to be very sad. theres people who really need this stuff and instead of havign so much she can donate. nowdays people are dying because they cant find this stuff. couponing is great and all but i dont think its right to take and keep. its best to take what you have earned and the rest to donate it to the needy :)

  • @TheTikiboi How do you know she doesn't donate food to the needy?

  • @TheTikiboi yes that true but maybe just maybe shes doing that as well and also shes just helped alot of people by showing her secret

  • wow too good to be true

  • Seeing that food cabinet at 3:19 makes me think that this lady needs to give to Africa. Its not right that this lady has CRAP loads of food in there, probably goes off before they eat

  • @JayCrittu well you are right about one thing...it is CRAP...all GMO & processed preservative filled poison...BUT she is an amazing shopper I give her credit for that. If your going to eat crap & kill yourself, it might as well be free lol :)

  • @me373 I LOL'd literally.

  • @me373 If I could favourite your comment I would.

  • @abcmissme2 glad I could make u chuckle & smile...

do you think something like "EXTREME COUPONER MOTTO: If your going to eat crap that kills you...it might as well be free" would make a good t-shirt? lol :)

  • I bet she is spending more than all of that on buying news papers xD

  • can't be done, most of the states you need to pay tax for whatever free items you purchase

  • @mingklui it can. Because some of those coupons, when doubled, exceed the value of the item it is being taken off of. When using THAT many coupons, cashiers tend not to catch it. Not to mention the retail rewards she receives from shopping at these stores added in.

  • at first i thought she was some poor psycho crazy mother

  • what a stingy little bitch

  • You literally cannot do this in Australia. Coupons are rare for supermarkets and manufacturers.

  • the thing is though, how much does she spend on the newspapers and ink for printing... they need to account for that too....

  • I need to learn this ASAP

  • I'm in Singapore. ._.

  • if you can do this in asia. there will be so many more rich people~

  • In my country, the only coupons we get are discount prices for Domino's.

  • my aunt who's living in the states does this as well.. just that not until THIS extreme!! O.O

  • You don get that much coupons in my country D";

  • this is why us economy is so bad. dumb retailers. she'll never put that off in where i live.

  • she didnt count the costs for buying those newspapers and magazines...

  • @hing1038 lots of newspapers are free in the states

  • @horra1000 oic.... here in asia everything needs money...T^T

  • @hing1038 do you know what is the meaning of feed?you eat newspapers everyday?

  • @DarkH0lic where u get the coupons???? ==

  • @hing1038 there are coupons for those too. some mags give free subcriptions for up to a year. there's always a way.

  • @WHOOHOOSIMS wow...i didn't know that...in my country...there'r no free stuffs....if u saw any ad with a huge "FREE" on it...read the small words below carefully.... we always have to pay/spend certain amount in order to redeem the so called "free stuffs" (which in other word we'd already pay for it =.=)

  • Why does the host sound like Glados in the beginning of the video?

  • hey, is she an indian?

  • Damn you 1 penny! Casiher:Fuck this bitch. Shopping for 1 penny.

  • Whatever it is..She's Brilliant!..Not many people can do that.

  • Er, won't her electricity bills plus printer ink cost a bomb?

  • lol the supermarket must be losing alot of business as people start watching this

  • @animemachinex3

Actually they are not losing any money. They are getting paid by the manufactures via the coupons.

  • use ALL coupons!!!

  • The supermarket manager is being question by the shareholders at this point of time.

  • try buy a car parts by parts using coupon. lol.:)

  • who wrote the description? $4 a WEEK! not a month... -.-

  • But she has to buy the paper. And where does she get all those coupons?

  • Wow @3:11 . I better get her house address so I know where to go in case of a zombie apocalypse.

  • Where did she get those coupons?

  • PERFECT HOUSEWIFE!

  • What sorcery is this...

  • wow

  • Only in the US...people watching from other countries = bored.

  • @teH2SO4 WATCHED IT AND IM LIVING IN SAUDI ARABIA LOL

  • What sorcery is this?!?!?

  • OMG. she should start a class teaching this method of shopping!

  • HOLY SHIT . how did she do that .

  • bet she got that car with coupons as well

  • She must be on some supermarket blacklist

  • all that for a penny??

  • @seyan1991 Genius level Asian

  • did she got her car with coupons too?

  • @weesenz1992 Dude, they said grocery shopping, not other expenses.

  • Title says $4 a week, description says $4 a month

  • hot mom!

  • Poor fellow who queues behind her on normal days! :S

  • WOW

  • Ok but i think that those big companies and super marts are gonna implement some policy to stop this from happening.

  • HOLY SHIT

  • doesn't work in my country zzz

  • She could prepare for a whole zombie apocalypse with just $50

  • she should share her expertise with charities and the less fortunate.

  • wow, it's crazy how much people don't know about coupons, I feel blessed to have found my way with coupons!

  • this girl is amazing

  • The bad thing is, as you saw in her pantry everything is totally unhealthy. She did buy a few ounces of this and that in the seafood, but what does she do... feed each member a different 4 ounces of seafood at a meal? I've tried the extreme couponing, and either end up with unhealthy processed foods, and/or a lot of non-food items not needed, or even used.

  • @respstudent1 that's not always true, you can get healthy food with coupons, in fact there is a video where I show you guys that!

  • i wish we could get deals like this in Canada....

  • Mmmh rachel - I had to read up on what couponing actually is lol - someone told me last night that as a casual worker at Woolworths they earn 23 dollars an hour - maybe higher wages? has something to do with it....

  • Wow that's incredible!!!

  • That's insane

  • Not going to happen in Land Down Under - in Australia we don't have coupons at all - our biggest ongoing special is one litre milk for a dollar and basic white bread for a dollar - everything is full prices/no coupons and of course we have weekly specials - but nothing like this coupon system - also, petrol unleaded is approx 1.40 a litre - el cheapo in the U S...

  • i'm going to start doing this!

  • SMART! :D

  • my issue with couponing is it seems like you can get only unhealthy processed foods for cheap or free..I wish there was coupons on natural and organic foods!

  • @speczwifey09 there are coupons for healthy items there's even an episode about a vegan couponer on TLC's show Extreme couponing

  • @speczwifey09 There are coupons for organic and natural foods - they're just not available as often so you can supplement but not go exclusive with those. It does allow you to get natural/organic for the price you'd normally pay for highly processed. I got organic pasta sauce for $1.70 w/ coupon tonight, for example - no sale. That's where farmer's markets, container gardening, buying 1/2 cow or pig etc. comes into play. Couponing is just one way to reduce food costs.

  • I work at shaws :)

  • I love this woman!!

  • I like her. She's not so greedy with her couponing. Most couponers on 'extreme couponing' just want more and more. She just buys what she needs and saves a lot of money. Smart woman.

  • wow!

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot You're nothing compared to a news company. &Who cares if your dad does? You don't. She's doing the smart thing & you're a minority opinion.

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot You're stupid. You can legally film in places WITH permission. &This lady saved hundreds of dollars for a couple hours of work. Do you get paid 50-100$ an hour? Doubt it.

  • I think saving money is great, but in the long run, most of the foods are full of preservatives and chemicals in the packaged goods. This is why I seldom use coupons, they are for junk. I only eat real food, which I process myself.

  • Lol I bet she could got it all free she just did 1 penny for effect

  • @CaseyMcLaughalot IF it's abusing the system idiot then why the hell would these company's put the coupons or deals out there in the first place, I think 1/4 of the population uses coupons, it might be less than that! It's not abuse! What company's and our goverment is doing to us on a daily basis is abuse...but I guess you like a good ass f*cking...loser!

  • "Hey, look a penny on the ground i bet i can buy $300 of groceries with that"

she would be quite the house wife

  • This is annoying its coupons how do they think how this is so revolutionary?

  • @academicroach

Actually a lot of the people that coupon heavily are the ones that don't need to, the ones with a bit higher salary.

But thankfully, those lower on the spectrum are catching on.

  • i bet she tried to bum a penny off the cashier

  • The whole time i was picturing the fallout 3 buy/sell glitch.

  • Just think... if she devoted this amount of energy to a business, should wouldn't have to worry about living at the discretion of coupons every week.
