The tractor is fantastic for home hobby use. 20 mins to spread 16 yards of soil. If I was a pro landscaper or drainage person it would be just a bit too small to work at optimum efficiency. The 28-30tractors are only 4.5-6.5HP more but have bigger frames, buckes and better hydraulics. Without a doubt, the Hydro transmission is worth the premium. it is not optional on the 2310 but is optional on most larger tractors. Hydro is much better unless the tractor would be doing constant pulling
