That statement defies basic atmospheric chemistry.

I'll give you a jist of how it works:

Radiation is reflected by the atmosphere. Radiation = energy, energy = thermal energy = heat. The more radiation (light, etc) the atmosphere traps, the warmer the planet becomes.

Al Gore has nothing to do it with, that's how planets and atmospheres work. Science.

The amount of Carbon man produces is minimal compare to the output of carbon in the oceans and in volcano. We exhale CO2 , plants take in C02. CO2 is part of the natural life cycle of the earth .

This doesn't make any sense. CO2, CO, NO, CFCs, etc are excellent green house gases. What you don't seem to understand, is that these chemical compounds in our atmosphere are completely responsible for the Earth's surface temperature.

You can argue against it all you want, but this fact. The earth, without an atmosphere would be frigid and no life would exist (see: Mars). Why is that?

The 300,000 number is considered a consrevative estimate of the deaths related to loss of aerable land and/or prolonged drought condtions.
