I'm not against killing animals as I support it by eating meat, but I think there is a distinction between hunting and shooting. Hunting, as animals do with each other, is about pitting natural abilities against prey. Shooting is a 'deskilling' of hunting. It's just too easy. Go after that pig or bear with sticks or rocks or bare hands. Now that would be a challenge.

Trick photography. I teach photography, and my hat is off to the photographer for his/her skill in photographic misrepresentation.

Use a wide-angle lens with the smallest possible aperture. Get as close as you can to the dead boar. Have the hunter stand 10-15 behind the boar, and cross his arms as if resting on top of the pig. Press shutter.

I have a photo of the "largest house fly"... it's the size of a human hand. I took the photo "holding" the fly using the above technique.
