  • is that bike just as fast off the line as say a 250 sxf

  • had no idea we had anything like this in Ireland, this is fantastic really really is fantastic :D

  • @DrSalvador4 sorry buddy this is in canada, i go there all the time.

  • @nothorwitzer Haha ya man i just found out after posting that, we have a place called Limerick here also, no where near as nice though. Shows my ignorance thinking there's just the one haha ;D

  • chest mount

  • were is the camera mounted? the bottom of the helmet? i really like the camera angle.

  • Watch out for those barefooted nature walkers, we almost ran over a few of them last year!

  • great video. wouldnt want to get spat off into those trees,

  • Nice track nice bike nice riding top vid

  • @scottsmotox Where and how did you mound your camera? I have the classic and the HD GoPro Wide as well as a KTM 300 XC-Wide ;)

  • damn those trails look awesome dude.... i had trails like that behind my house untill they cut the freakin woods down to build old people homes.

  • @crimson22s ...hahah, I totally know what you mean. Same shit happened to me years ago. i ride through their back yard to get to the trail now ........but ALWAYS slow, quiet, and RESPECTFUL.

  • dammm i want one soo bad how much?

  • by sneapier you mean crapier hea?

  • great riding and great trails. gotta love the sound of a two stroke

  • y r u sitting so far back on the seat?

  • where did u put the go pro on at?

  • How is the stock suspension setup on this bike? I have a 380SX that I ride desert but it is very stiff since it is a SX model. The only 300XC-W I have ridden was a friends who had the suspension valved and sprung for his style and weight.

  • nice vid

  • how snappy is a 300 ?? compared to a 250?

  • I haven't ridden a 250 but I hear it's snappier then the 300

  • yah its a bit snappy

  • @Scottsmotox yeah, everyone i know on a 300 says they use it because its as close to a four stroke as you can get without having engine break and the front wheel dig in the sand as bad

  • down fucking shifttt, it doenst pull like a 4 stroke...come on man

  • @hadriel8 A 300 XC/XC-W does pull like a 4-stroke. A lot of low end power and more torque than a 450F. Yet they still scream in the power band. I have ridden one. I have grown up on 4-strokes.

  • Yeah Steve is fast and thats a bad bike. I have a 250sxf setting up for woods but these look like they kick it.I'm 53

  • how does it compare to the 300exc in terms of power delevery, handling etc? We only have the exc in Aus.

  • i hope someone who KNOWS it will also reply, but i would say its the same bike they just call it different ...just maybe

  • do you notice any gaps in the gearing with the W?

  • No. The power band is wide.

  • its a fast foward because the doesnt sound like its going as fast as it looks watch

  • This video was recorded at regular speed on a GoPro wide-angle camera. Its my buddy ridding my bike. He's quick, but not a pro and he's 50 yrs old. We do occasionally hit trees and i've cracked ribs on more than one occasion.

The sound on .avi video's go out of sync when uploaded and processed by YouTube.

  • @Scottsmotox How long is 1 loop of the Hare scramble track?..

  • @HoleShotQikOnClutch Haha! Thats right it DOESN'T SOUND LIKE IT IS GOING AS FAST AS IT LOOKS. Welcome to the world of the 300 2-stroke. I the had made the video on a 125 it would SOUND like this guy is INSANE going this speed.

  • @jasonhawk2

Exactly right Jason. I have the same bike and it has so much torque that you don't have to scream the RPM's up there to make it move. Short shift it all day long, get more traction, use less energy. 300 is where it's at man.

  • @HoleShotQikOnClutch Dude, I ride like that on my cr125 and it's YouTube that does that not the editing.

  • That was awesome how can you ride through a path that thin

  • Keep your head up and eyes open!

  • Nice. I'd prefer a 250XC, but still nice.

  • Why 250 to the 300?

  • best bike ever, and great angle. keep it up dude :)

  • this is fast forward played

  • Good riding there mate, just wondering where you put your camera?

  • Camera is mount on my chest

  • After watching this video, I now feel like a total poser being a new owenr of this bike. Take this video, slow it down tow 1/4 speed and that would be me.LOL

  • That's my buddy ridding my bike for the 1st time. He rides a Honda cr144

  • would i kill myself on this bike... im 13 5'5. also have you had any problems... thanks

  • Its a lot of bike - very powerful. The 200xcw would be a better choice.

  • Great Limerick footage with the "Chest Cam"!

  • How do you like that bike. Does it foul a lot of plugs on the trails? Also, is it snappy? I mean will the front end come up in like 3rd and 4th gear? Also, does it jump good?

  • Never fouled a plug. Not really snappy, its a torque monster.

  • You can make it snappy and yes its a torq monster.

  • nice vid man

  • thats a high quality video man! what camera? awsome riding!

  • dude, i know that trail!!!!

  • It get good mileage if the green(stiff) power valve is installed.

  • how long will that go on a full tank

  • a good day of riding ( 5 hours aprox ) and it will be 3/4ths empty or more but u have reverser but it cost me ( i have a four stroke honda ) about 2.50 - 5.00 dollars for gas lol for a good day of riding.

  • sick bike.and nice trails.

  • The bike has tons of low end torque!

  • Great video and great riding looks like lots of fun. Im from kildare but i wouldnt mind driving for trails like that! Just wondering where you bought your bike from and what price it was. I thought they only sold the sx and exc models over here? I really would love one to buy one of those beasts!

  • You can buy it new for $7000 to $8500cdn in Ontario Canada, depending on the time of year. We have endless amount of trails - from easy to extremely rugged with lots of climbing.

  • Cool. They are a serious machine for sure, i would love to buy one but i dont know if the wide ratio gear box is worth going to canada and back for, i think the exc may do me!

  • I just sold my 2004 KX500. I loved that bike but the chassis old technology. I think the KTM 300XC-W will be my next bike. I am 290lbs but I hear it has incredible tourqe. Enough for a fat ass like me!

  • awesome riding man!
