I think he used a program called Wax, 3D composition (if his version of Vegas has that) and maybe some of the transitions to make them.

Oh and amazing job yet again, btw.

Yes, that's the composite mode called 3-D source Alpha. It doesn't look like Wax was used in this one, but it does a lot of 3-D stuff that you can't do in Vegas.

Actually the only 3D stuff in this video was from Wax. I didn't use the 3D source Alpha composite mode at all in this particular video.

Also, a lot of the illusion of 3D effects at points in this video came from careful use of the deform effect with pan/crop.
