Not only was his mastery of the keyboard incredible with clean and well- conceived flourishes, but his stunning ability to improvise harmonically as well as melodically - all with great feeling and taste - simply set him apart from all others. This was the first Art Tatum piece I heard as a teenager and I have never forgotten the absolute amazement and joy that I experienced listening to this one recording over and over. Thanks.

It is one of the coolest things on the internet to hear good music this way... I could never find all this music or afford to own it... but here it is... wow - what a wonderful world!

A great example of his geinious in the balad sphere. Turning a slow balad into a complex masterpiece.
