If it wasn't for the British empire, India would not be a world super power that it is today. It was the British who educated them on proper hygiene (which Indians still lack) western architecture and education that enabled the Indian to walk upright. When the British empire left, India became more weaker and broke into two separate countries (India and Pakistan). Also when the British left millions of Hindus and Muslims killed each other and also starved.
