Will this also clean the holding tanks inside the dispenser ? I heard these hold a few litres on their own ? I have the unit with cold and hot water like the one in your video ? Thanks
i came to this video for one reason..i thought that u guys in america have something else insted of the water cooler to drink water...because i here in jordan (midd east) just bought a new water cooler witch i thought was not a good idea at first but all the worls use it so ...oh and thanx for that tip i never knew i had to clean my water cooler
i wouldn't feel safe drinking from a water cooler that had any amount of bleach in it. why not use something less... chemically harmful to your body....?
@awhislyle - OOOOH NO! I am another one. I've had mine for about 9 years! lol. but I'm noit dead, so clearly you can get away with it (for a while lol)
Thanks sooo much for the video. Got a cooler that needs cleaning. Asked my dad how to go about it. We couldn't decide on vinegar or bleach. Glad for the clarification. Hate to use bleach but if that's what it takes oh well. Thanks again.
I have no idea that i can clean my bottler water cooler this way. I just notice that the bottler water was contaminated until my husband put it and I soo green powder going to the botton of the water bottled to my dispanser... Thank you very much for this excellent video .
Thank you for this video. I clean a friend's cabin in exchange for staying there once in a while. They have a water cooler which I don't think has ever been cleaned and I am concerned about drinking the water. I have seen cleaning sets to purchase, but I felt that there had to me a more simple (less expensive) process. Your video told me that what I thought of doing was close to right. I won't use as much bleach as I was going to and won't be afraid of breaking it.
Great video !!! I learned a lot. So great to have a first class video to show and TELL how to do something !!! I was just using vinegar and not bleach. WOW !!!
I'm so gladI found your video. I wanna get one for my job, but with kids' hands ALL over everything ALL the time, I wasn't sure about sanitizing. THanks a bunch.
Hey! Thanks for this video. You must have the same cooler as mine (or newer). Looks the same, mine has a drain spigot in the back to completely drain it. Anyway, I didn't know you can remove the taps like that, so I finally cleaned them thoroughly, and the cooler looks new. In all took me about 30 mins, but I took my time. Probably can do it in less next time. So thanks for the posting. I rate this one as a thumbs up!
ndoki, that right,, but with watercleanAg, all you need to do is just put the cartridge into the reservoir, then forget about it for a whole year!..just replace your bottles as normal, and the water is sanitized with silver ions as you go 24/7..for a whole year.
also, it removes chlorine taste of tap water, and any smells and also gets rid of the scale from hard water if you got such problems.. I use mine from the tap, without filters, and the water tastes better than fro the tap..
excellent show! but there is a new product called watercleanag+ that will make
it unnecessary in the future to manually sanitize anymore. The silver ion in watercleanag+ will keep the reservoir and the pipes and faucet sanitized for up to a year! it also eliminates scale if you have any, and also removes chlorine taste as well.you should try it..anyone can easily implement it too!

@mahalomana2-with a comment like yours.. people should wonder why I think all americans are not only stupid, but completely ignorant of Canadians. You probably think we all live in igloos like all of the other stupid yanks I've spoken to do.
Thank you for providing this video. I am a visual person and the printed instructions were very confusing to me. By you showing me I was able to correctly clean my unit... I appreciate you help...
