  • Haha thanks! I should've watched this video a year ago instead of just not using my water cooler.

  • Thank you so much for this patient and well made video kudos sir kudos

  • Very good video!

  • i came to this video for one reason..i thought that u guys in america have something else insted of the water cooler to drink water...because i here in jordan (midd east) just bought a new water cooler witch i thought was not a good idea at first but all the worls use it so ...oh and thanx for that tip i never knew i had to clean my water cooler

  • i wouldn't feel safe drinking from a water cooler that had any amount of bleach in it. why not use something less... chemically harmful to your body....?

  • every new bottle?!? sounds like a pain in the ass if you drink 4-6 cups a day.

  • @lgman83

Yeah, i think ill do this once or twice a year.

  • Am I the only one that had a water cooler for YEARS without knowing I needed to clean it?

  • @awhislyle legionella :(

  • @awhislyle If you never got sick, there is no big deal lol

  • @awhislyle - OOOOH NO! I am another one. I've had mine for about 9 years! lol. but I'm noit dead, so clearly you can get away with it (for a while lol)

  • I found this video very helpful and is on my favorites...but on another site it said to plug up hot water side to prevent bleach from getting in it.

  • Too much work. Gonna buy a new cooler!

  • Thanks sooo much for the video. Got a cooler that needs cleaning. Asked my dad how to go about it. We couldn't decide on vinegar or bleach. Glad for the clarification. Hate to use bleach but if that's what it takes oh well. Thanks again.

  • i ran some tap water through mine and a dead spider and all kinds of dirt came out of it.

    rinse and repeat.....

  • thank you. my service center told me NOT to use ANY chemicals, but i feel better running some bleach through my old USED cooler.

  • Amazing amount of water wasted.

  • @thrashorbthrashed dude, get over it. the water is not going anywhere. the earth is full of it.

  • Who needs an automatic dishwasher with this guy around, very fast a washing. You do house calls?

  • I just run a gallon of laquer thinner through mine every month.

  • THANK YOU... sooooooo much, I am about to go buy my first water cooler, but wanted to know how to clean it first... before I make the move to buy...

  • I have no idea that i can clean my bottler water cooler this way. I just notice that the bottler water was contaminated until my husband put it and I soo green powder going to the botton of the water bottled to my dispanser... Thank you very much for this excellent video .

  • I am impressed ! Great video and how many people will now be drinking SAFE water from sterile machine ? Keep up the great video's !!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for this video. I clean a friend's cabin in exchange for staying there once in a while. They have a water cooler which I don't think has ever been cleaned and I am concerned about drinking the water. I have seen cleaning sets to purchase, but I felt that there had to me a more simple (less expensive) process. Your video told me that what I thought of doing was close to right. I won't use as much bleach as I was going to and won't be afraid of breaking it.

  • Great video !!! I learned a lot. So great to have a first class video to show and TELL how to do something !!! I was just using vinegar and not bleach. WOW !!!

  • Dude, that's awesome. It's like a Kevin Lynch film.

  • I have stuff floating in my water............its only there after it runs through the machine....Whats wrong with it?

  • Great video! Thanks!

  • I'm so gladI found your video. I wanna get one for my job, but with kids' hands ALL over everything ALL the time, I wasn't sure about sanitizing. THanks a bunch.

  • Hey! Thanks for this video. You must have the same cooler as mine (or newer). Looks the same, mine has a drain spigot in the back to completely drain it. Anyway, I didn't know you can remove the taps like that, so I finally cleaned them thoroughly, and the cooler looks new. In all took me about 30 mins, but I took my time. Probably can do it in less next time. So thanks for the posting. I rate this one as a thumbs up!

  • ndoki, that right,, but with watercleanAg, all you need to do is just put the cartridge into the reservoir, then forget about it for a whole year!..just replace your bottles as normal, and the water is sanitized with silver ions as you go 24/7..for a whole year.

also, it removes chlorine taste of tap water, and any smells and also gets rid of the scale from hard water if you got such problems.. I use mine from the tap, without filters, and the water tastes better than fro the tap..

  • It's a great video, but I'll be honest: That's WAY too much work for me to do every time I empty a bottle.

  • excellent show! but there is a new product called watercleanag+ that will make

it unnecessary in the future to manually sanitize anymore. The silver ion in watercleanag+ will keep the reservoir and the pipes and faucet sanitized for up to a year! it also eliminates scale if you have any, and also removes chlorine taste as well.you should try it..anyone can easily implement it too!

  • Great vid, very helpful, thanks!

  • Thank you so much for making this video. It's so much better watching someone complete the instructions than to read it and try to figure it out.

  • He's not odd...He's Canadian! Great Advice Guy..."Ohh Jeez I got a doozie over here with the water cooler thingy eh.....after watching this though I should be able to get it all back together....thanks eh! I think beath334 is a hoser....eh?

  • @mahalomana2-with a comment like yours.. people should wonder why I think all americans are not only stupid, but completely ignorant of Canadians. You probably think we all live in igloos like all of the other stupid yanks I've spoken to do.

  • that dude was odd, but it is a helpful video.

  • why didnt he move the water cooler into its place...it be easier without the 5 gallon jug on top...???guess he not so smart...

  • Very helpful.... thank you!

  • smoking weed and watching youtube .... evil....

end up fascinated by videos like this lol

at least i can put this on a resume... if i ever get that job at pop copy lmao!

  • Thanks you are great.

  • Thank you for providing this video. I am a visual person and the printed instructions were very confusing to me. By you showing me I was able to correctly clean my unit... I appreciate you help...

  • This vid was very useful. I'm in the process of cleaning mine now. Thank you!
