This is extremely suspicious, mainly because of the odd nature of the bid. The man stared at the crowd and since the girl passed, someone in the crowd could have feasibly researched all the items in the showcase. I hope they reviewed the crowd for phones etc. and tried to figure out who he was staring at.

That being said, Drew's reaction was disappointing to say the least. If they are going to take back the prizes after the prove cheating so be it, but act like it's real.

It's possible to memorize the prices, but you have to either watch or tape that show all the time, to find that exact brand and model of each item and seen the exact price of it before. Then have to add it all up in your head. If that's the case, no cheat- (equicalent to Michael larson of PYL fame).

My friend Ted, who has been to the show around 30 times and memorizes the prices, was sitting next to the winner. He helped with several wins, this guys first prize, the ladies car, etc. He called out the correct price to the guy that won. These were prizes that have been on the show many times and loyal fans KNOW the prices. So no big surprise that he could get it on the nose. Drew blew it though.
