this review was only made to make fun of the movie and get laughs out of viewers but it totally failed to do it cause
1. It's not funny at all.
2. Those guys don't know how to use their brain
3. It wasn't only a great movie it is also a great statement on our time and age.
I also loved it a lot cause I was about his age at the time and for the record; I totally wasn't rich but I'd totally do it if I had the guts. I think we all have our reasons to hate this society now and then.

I saw it, I believe it was quite boring and yes the story of a rich kid giving everything up (well except for a nice gun and other gear) to live in the wild gets old quick. His struggles were all expected, just typical stuff anyone would run into while camping in Alaska etc.

And I think venturing into the wild by itself for months on end even if you have manufactured tools, or eye glasses still dosen't tone down the extreme limits pushed to cut yourself off from the world and live freely. I agree with you about Emile Hirsch and I think his self-righteous petulance put me off too much to actually enjoy The Girl Next Door, despite the fact that it fit the character. However, that's my problem yet I've noticed that you guys also often equate despicable main characters with a bad movie, which I think is a mistake. Either way, I haven't seen it yet, but if it IS actually one of those laughably funny over-dramatic movies then I think I might bother with it.
