Zune 2 80GB Video 1st Look/Demo

You Really help me make up my mind from buying a Ipod. I have tried out 2 mp3 players already.I have searched the internet, reviewed and have gone to many stores! I have even gone to the pawn shops, Craigslist,Amazon to try to find a decent price on a Ipod! I didn't think there was anything close to the Ipod. But what happen is, the 2nd mp3 player I took a chance on has a radio. Wow I love that feature. The Ipod does not have that feature. I love Microsoft products! Thanks for helping me out.

Disagreed. Looks might not be everything, but nowadays, the firmwares on these mp3 players (the most popular ones, of course) are shockingly almost the same. Still play music, still have radio, still show pictures, and still watch movies. So, it's only down to the look and portability.

I got my ipod 5.5G 30GB a week before the classic came out, and used itunes alot, I've found myself using itunes less and less. When I get anothe player, I'll get a zune 2 (the old zune looked horrible imo) but this looks really good. I like the menu and the clarity of the screen and the reviews say that the headphone quality is excellent. BUT microsoft won't release it in the UK yet :(

I have had an iPhone,iPod touch but he Zune 80gb beats them all (in my opinion) this thing is amazing it's beats the shit out of the iPod Classic! Getting videos on it may be a little tricky but when you get it, it's amazing!

And the headphones show that Microsoft really cares about it's customers, because they could have just given us the crappy white apple look alikes but they didn't.

There is a program called magic DVD player. Google it. Download the trial version and start up the program. put your dvd in and convert into the IPOD(you can use it for the zune) format. Depending on the length of the movie, it should take about 30 to 60 minutes. Then it should show up in your library and then sync it to the device.

The Zune 80 will get 30 hours on audio and 4 hours on video, and the 4 and 8GB flash Zunes will get 24 hours audio and 4 hours video. but this is with wifi OFF, once on it will depend on video quaity, format. i use it everyday if not at work at home or in my car and maybe charge it everyday because i syc everyday. i have a zune30 btw.

I was gonna wait for this, but I got a Ipod Classic. I despise the Zune software, I dont like how the MS points system works, the touch pad and also the screen. Yes the screen is bigger than the Classic's, its not as clear. I watched some videos w/ bill gates and it, the video quality looked terrible.
