How to dodge a Blue (Spiny) Shell in Mario Kart Wii

i always wanted to try to dodge it by using drift boost. but blue shell always come at the time when it's hard to get drift boost

Annoyingly enough, a Mini Turbo isn't fast enough to dodge the Blue Shell. So no matter how much you try, it won't work.

i try de dodge in MKDS and it´s real, i can dod that, i did it 10 seconds ago...
