Well blame apple for overpricing their hardware. I don't think aluminum went that high in price did it? But if it running i5 it means it has a PGA-988//BGA-1288 socket mobo possibly produced down the block from the hp sweatshop or possibly in the same one.

Also if you were a bit more advanced you should be aware of something called hackintosh - installing mac os on a regular PC hardware. You could get a hp 8inch net book for 300 dollars and have better performance, weight and battery than air.

I had a macbook pro and it a ton a viruses. It got viruses when I would open itunes and stuff. I have a Windows 7 laptop and I'll never get viruses again.

And Macs tend to be very slow(think turtle) and can't even handle flash games let alone a video in 1080p. Macs are basically a run over pig with lipstick. Windows 7 is a pageant queen.

You can even see on this video that Windows is protecting him. If he would've gotten a Mac he would've been laying in his death bed with aids.

It lacks flexibility (both software-wise and hardware-wise), it lacks games (Valve is helping them out but it's still not a mature optimized gaming platform) and I highly doubt that there's anything a Mac can do that a Windows PC can't. One thing I'll give Apple is that they have amazing customer support and warranties, but that's at the price of flexiblity on the user's behalf.

The other group that makes up a large percentage of the homeless is the mentally ill. Some of these people refuse treatment and cannot or will not take medication on a regular schedule. Rulings at both the federal and state levels make it very hard to involuntarily commit someone, for more than a few days.

Not in mint condition if you drop it. Macs use the same hard drives as PCs. No different. No less likely to have a head crash (look up head crash).

Acer is a hit or miss company on some of their laptops. Note that Apple only offers a very small product line - I don't mean CPU speed, RAM, or HDD differences because they use the same system board. Through this small support base comes stability (selling point).
