  • We played a version where chimes were used for the first couple measures C,: Handbells was fun.

  • I wish there are more handbells music...I know it from Bjork's 'Who is It', the sound of bells are beautiful!

  • I lvoed playing hand bells for my church. That was so long ago now.

  • New Girl sent me.

  • @twilightawakening Me too!!! How funny...

  • i came here cause of the show 'new girl' this is really weird but really interesting - i never knew it existed - it's like playing a piano but with each person holding a note lol

  • hey do u know what level piece of this is and how many octaves it involves. im part of a 3 octave bell choir but i think this song may be too easy for us cuz we only really play high level 3 and level 4-5

  • I play in a handbell choir it is made up of 7th and 9th graders and we have a spring concert come'n up so i am excited! :) and this was a great showing of proper use of the bells!

  • Are you playing White Chapel bells? They have a really nice mellow sound.

  • we play thissong it is fun:)

  • i play where the african american girl plays its so much fun ;) i luv when david archuleta sings it

  • this is so cool. We have a band which is made up of 8th and 7th graders. The 8th graders are doing this song and some 7th graders get to do it. I get to since I play flute and there's only like 4 flutes so it works out.

  • Wow this is pretty impressive. I love how they work as a team

  • Pretty cool. I'm in a 10 player 5 octave choir and this song is on one of my "wish lists" to do

  • im in a grade 6 handbell choir in St.Jerome School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada LOL!!! im soo good i can play 6 bells at once...EZ

  • i'm in a grade 6 handbell choir and we usually hold the bells eye level and strike it

  • this is the right way to hold hand bells. if you hold it at eye level then you have nothing to stop the sound vibrations. you rest them on your chest when you're done striking. This makes it so that it doesn't create unneccesary ringing that might cause the song to sound bad

  • I always clunked the bells together in the fast passages, in our choir we had 6/8 people playing three octaves....we played flight of the bumble bee, some how! haha lol

  • in my class were studying hand bells....

I wish i could do this

  • Really, its not that fun.

  • Nice job guys, we haven't played this in our handbell choir yet, but I would love too. (You guys should really wear black gloves...just saying..)

  • They probably wear white because black gloves would blend in with their robes. I think it looks kind of neat.

  • @BabyFactory1868 i know you commented two years ago, but i have just stumbled across this video. they wear th white gloves becuase they are preformance gloves whereas black gloves are considered to be practice gloves. white gloves have a flashier appearance and bring out the bells more than the black color of the practice gloves. the white gloves seem to have less grip than black gloves do though. lol i've been playing in the bell choir since i was 5 and they drilled that into my brain

  • wowza im in handbell and we're playing patapan, i love that song.

  • beautiful!

  • you guys must be realy great with tempo!

  • BEAUTIFUL!
