Doug Painters 2 shot operation works just the same or better if you can get on paper just once. More effective for a gut like me that's shooting .300 win mag. Way cheaper aka winning choice.
@lynhill1969 the process is very simple. One should be able to do the whole thing in 6 or so shots. I have some people say you need 20 to 40 shots, which is ridiculous. Try it out!! good luck to ya.
Tip for ya..... just put the gun in a vice. Take ONE shot. Then put the crosshairs on that bullet hole, make sure the gun/vice is solid and turn the adjustments until you are dead center.....done.
I've got a Remington 770 .270 Just installed a Barska 4X16X50 scope. I fined tuned it so that I was hitting Bulls eyes at 50 Feet. Then I set up on the 100 yard target....I was hitting almost a foot high. Does the 270 have that much of an arch???
@ashcroft8 I;m not sure about the 270 arch, but the 270 makes one hell of a blast. I'd make sure everything is tight, and if possible maybe try a better quality scope. Thanks for watching!
Did you patent this idea? just don't.

Sixgunlvr is right. Use a fixed rest. Secure the gun in it. Fire one shot. Adjust scope to bullet hole. Done.

I got them at our local Bass Pro. They're really cheap too. Like 5 bucks for 20 or so.
