Cure sounds sexy, but i agree with matt. it's not all about cure. semantics need a change. the cure is in the chronic and manageable.

As a Doctor I would say that Matthew is right that much more has to be done and researched to cure CANCER. But your objectiveness has too much pessimisms, and would certainly not help people currently faced with Cancer. I would like to address to these people and would like to say that there are many cases that people who faced cancer at early stage and got treatment: radiation, chemo, surgical lived and now many years after without facing it again. Don't lose hope. Because the cure is COMING!!
