you have nice bike but the engine is a bit small. buy an old briggs or tecumpsah.5 hp engine for it they are cheep and esy to get a hold of. just talk to people that work on lawn equiptment they might have 1 lying around. i went from a 2 to a 5 on mine and loved the upgrade, mutch more power !

there is fuel additives to keep the fuel from breaking down over long periods of time we put it in all our small engine machines right before winter storage

isnt gas red...? if it isnt then it is mixed with oil cus the engine is 2 stroke which means that you need to mix pre mix fuel into it

@tomashcu60 The engine is definantly not a two stroke. A two stroke would be alot more loud and briggs and stratton never made a two stroke flathead.

Does the handlebars vibrate a lot? I have a bicycle with Brigs & Stratton engine and i have to use silicone on the seat to not become numb the ass. I have also something soft on the handlebars. 2 tubes have braked of bacause of the vibrations. I hope the front fork is not falling of.

There should be a little square bolt at the bottom of the engine block. Unbolt it with an adjustable crescent wrench and then the oil will pour out. Then fill it up until it comes up to almost overflowing.

2 strokes have more power generally and are more powerful. Their pistons are little bitty too. They just pollute more. I like old school stuff. My bike goes fast downhill though..... HAHA! Could be easily made to go faster. I just like the cruising.

i have a mini moto and the carb was really fukked up and it started making a fukked up noise and when i revved it it wouldnt move and i took it to shop and he only cleaned the carb and charged me a lot like about £65 and when i got home i looked and he took alll the fukking performance parts and the ngk!!! soo my dad whent bakk and started swearin at him lol and now i know a lot bout minis!!!

i finally got my minibike running. too bad i never hooked the governor up lol. it took off. i thought low gear was high gear for a while, turns out the belt is just slipping like mad! it did 30 mph in low gear with a slipping belt, cant wait to try high gear without a slipping belt lol.

I would put a clutch on it, centrifugal clutch to be exact. otherwise the bike will be trying to go all the time, not a good thing if you want to stop. Plus it will keep the motor from burning up.

i got a 5.5 briggs and i am try so hard to get it runing but it will start for 10 min and then want start for a few days any other tips get back at me

Really to diagnose I would need to see it. But usually those aluminum blocks do become worn down to the point where it just needs new rings. Run a compression tester to see what psi it is running at. I can find my book if you need to know the compression it should be at. Mail me back!

I made it. I went to the auto parts store and bought the turn downs. Then I took the stock muffler, cut it in half and took out all the silencers and then welded it back up in the center. Then I made my own little tubing. Its LOUD! Thanks for watching!!!!! Good luck!

ya i have one i made i did the same but i had dule exhaust put on my truck so i took the old 3inch and make one for my go cart out of it. it sticks about 3 to 4 inches of the back of the cart.
