Percebi que o final original foi cortado já na primeira vez em que vi este desenho na TV. É uma pena que não haja cópia original do mesmo, pois poderíamos ver direitinho como é que ele terminava de verdade.
Originally released by Paramount in November 1957 (in the original theatrical prints, when Casper raised the musical saw above him at the end, the scene morphed into the Paramount mountain end title- "A Paramount Picture/Technicolor"), and directed by Seymour Kneitel. Probably one of Winston Sharples' best scores...
Thank you for this upload, I remember watching this episode as a kid like it was yesterday and I always wondered which Schubert's symphony was this. Casper is great.
This particular cartoon prompted me to find Shubert's Unfinished Symphony, which I found on 78 RPM records with a picture of Franz on the labels. Thanks for posting.
This is one of my all time favorite Casper cartoon where he meets the ghost of Franz Schubert & helps the spirit of Herr Schubert finish his Unfinish Symphony ( With a nod to the Popeye Classics "Sock A Bye Baby & Quiet Please!" A true classic from the 1950's!

@fromthesidelines I always thought the cartoon ended like that, and i agree on this being Winston Sharples' best scores.

I love the attention to minute details, likel Schubert's hands move correctly on the piano to the sound of him playing it.
