This later changes to SFO where a friendly staff is available to assist those in need between flights. If anyone knows where I can submit this, please let me know!

Ok, I work for an airport and SFO is my most used airport and I have to say..
This was not a smart move by SFO. This video reinforces the INCORRECT mindset that the majority of these bad experiences are due to the airport and its staff, when in reality, we're talking about PAX AND AIRLINE or PAX AND TSA interactions. Sure, streamlining security line configurations, maintaining facilities, gate schedules, etc are done by airport management, but rude FAs and torn baggage are AIRLINE issues.
And long TSA lines are impossible to remedy because airports were designed for another era when these lines were never required and airports were designed for lower MAP (hard to get funding for higher capacity than forecasted). We also have to consider the inefficiencies of TSA at these lines and delays by PAX (e.g. Water bottles STILL through checkpoint? Have you not read/heard/listened to the news?? ).
Airports need more authority over PAX experience but it's mostly hands off right now.
I fly once a year to Sydney and have been through LAX and SFO many times now. SFO has absolutely nothing to brag about. In fact, I make a point to avoid it. I've found the people who work there to be so incredibly rude and even downright mean. Without a doubt, my worst airport experiences have been at SFO. Yes, LAX has a really screwed up layout, but if you've ever had to run from your domestic flight to your Qantas flight in San Francisco, you'll quickly find that SFO is no better.
This video should be redone to NOT include SFO's own Terminal 1 as the "Old Terminal" (Boarding area B) as the girl suggests. I've been employed at SFO for over 2 years. It is a nice place, and if you happen to see me there, I'll help you in the capacity I can to make your experience at SFO really good to go! I think we could film the old terminal part at San Jose. We also have a big terminal 2 renovation underway too.

I like that the BART goes right to the airport. It is mind numbingly convenient... LA on the other hand is a cluster f*ck when it comes to Metro services. The idiot that designed the system (or permitted the parking lobby to win) routed the train to go near the airport rather than *to* it. Then again, if Gavin Newsom greeted me with a smile like that, I'd take a taxi, too..
LAX can be bad, but SFO has horrible delays. I'd rather be an ugly airport and get my flight, then be in a "pretty" airport and have my flight canceled. Also LAX is working or remodeling their international terminal. It should be up to everyone's standards soon.

LAX has one of the highest numbers of originating flights in the world, if I'm not mistaken. The idea of coming into or leaving LAX is getting in and out right away. As for the Int'l terminal there are lots of amenities. And as for security, it's a breeze...TSA are dicks, but the lines are small and people get through fast.
lax is alot better than sfo "in my opinion" , besides.. LA have the best weather, so why not stop in LA to continue my flight.. not to mention the peoples in LA is alot more down to earth than weirdo's in san francisco.. " my opinion"
The "best" airports in California that I've used are Oakland, John Wayne, and Long Beach. LAX and SFO are both nasty. That said, LAX is world-class nasty (only Orly in Paris compares to it, as awful first-world airports), while SFO is just a "standard" bad American airport.

As someone who frequently flies all over California, I completely disagree with this video. I will fly into Oakland airport if I need to go to the bay area. SFO is just to much of a hassle, and does not have nearly as convenient a layout or quick an exit, as Oakland or LAX.

Corny commercial, but very Aussie at the same time. It was nice to see the Brown Sisters (not old drag queens). They are an icon in San Francisco. SFO is far from the best airport. Shopping, restaurants and other amenities are very limited compared to NRT, KIX, SYD, CPH, FRA....and the list goes on. Customs is a joke. I've never gotten a feeling of "Welcome to the USA" there; it's more like "Why are you bothering us by coming here?"
I do love going to SFO but, OMG what a corny commercial! I like how they used the same actress for both the good and bad flight attendant, and Gavin Newsom getting the door at the end was just absurd.

LAX is old and Bradley Terminal is the worst but it is easy to get in and out of. Hopefully, LAX will get it's renovation soon.
SFO is much more beautiful and has better shops, restaurants and lounges.
I don't go to shop or eat at airports....so none of them really bother me other than LHR where you have a 5 mile walk to transportation....uhg!

One of my first memories was getting delayed while passing through the bad airport while connecting to Hong Kong when I was four.
Hope you'll market SFO in Asia as well.
