  • THIS IS AMAZING!

  • @HomeImagineering Where did you learn all this? This is incredible!

  • What's with the cat thing? Why a cat? Why not ghosts?

  • Wow. Just. Wow.

The storyline is also quite unique, and a welcomed change from the Twilight Zone one found at most of the parks.

  • @TombraiderTy What's wrong with twilight zone? It's classic! I think disney hit the nail on the head with the ower of terror rides.

  • @wizbang529 It's definitely an amazing attraction, but when the majority (3 of 4? I may be wrong) all feature the Twilight Zone theme... just eh. I personally find Tokyo's amazing, since it dares to be different and feature something completely new and unique. And I'm aware the majority of guests probably don't care, but I feel like something original would be far superior and interesting than a made-for-attraction episode of the Twilight Zone. Just my take on it, anyway.

    Plus this video... wow

  • Mr. Pussy LOL!

  • Hi! This is a wonderful job, well done!

You know what? I've also made a tower of terror model. The california's version.

Just a question, tu es français?

  • Wow! I love how the story fits so well into what you've already done! You come up with the most amazing and creative stories that I would never think of! Keep it up!

  • Why is there a cat? Isn't it supposed to be like 5 people that dissolve into the wall? Its not a cat.

  • @ThemeParksOnline How about reading the description?

  • nice cat

  • how much was your projector?(wich brand also)

  • That is amazing. How do you do something so outragious?

But, cool, none of the less...

  • how did you account for the keystoning due to the side walls that attach to the window?

  • The template I made to create the projection video was drawn taking into account the foreshortening of walls and surfaces

  • Holy shit. That was freaking AWESOME!

  • ... I literately dropped my jaws... this is AMAZING! great work!! i like your indy jeep btw. =D

  • So you projected the effects onto the set? How did you get it all to line up? Did you project it as you were creating it?

I created a life size, working replica of Tower of Terror afew years ago, I wish I could have thought to project some effects back then, haha.

  • I made a little frame rig that alligned the projector and model in the same place every time I put them down on it.

The first time I had it together I drew a template in realtime against the model, which I then took away to a computer to create a show on.

When I brought it all back together and ran the video, it lined up =)

  • That's great, it really payed off!

  • What did you use for show control? Or where you manually controlling the lights?

Also, what is your go-to material for your models? Some look like foam core, but others are beautifully sculpted, such as your TOT model.

I would love to see some more behind the scenes stuff, and see your process.

  • The lights that are actually built into the set are controlled by a modified childrens nightlight.

Included in the projected film but outside the viewing area is a bright white dot that shines directly onto the nightlight sensor.

It didn't work very consistently =)

All my models are made from foamcore board, yes. Some have plaster over the top though, which gives it a better surface

  • what program did you use for this

  • A mixture of After Effects, Toonboom and Photoshop

  • For a second, I thought I was watching footage on board a ride. This is totally creative and amazingly crafted.

  • The projections are real slick! The perfect lineup makes it work.

Too bad I don't have a projector to play with, I do everything old school non-digital!

  • AMAZING! 5/5

  • that is absolutely amazing! i only hope my recreation of the real tower looks half as good as this, its just unbelieveable! the design and the lightning and the story! would it be wrong to say i love you? lol keep up the great work and i await your next video!

  • please done with the indiana jones adventure cause i kinda like it

  • Fantastic. What sort of interface do you use from the computer to the lights and such?

  • WHY ARE YOU NOT WORKING FOR DISNEY!?!?

  • This is what all the practise is for...

    Maybe in ten years

  • Thats awesome!

Were all the lights real action or digital? Its really cool!

  • Everything you see in this video can be watched in real life. It all works for real =)

  • a ghostly cat! cute, yet original!

never thought an old lady would give the hotel to her own cat! or the cat would haunt the hotel!

    very, very original my friend!

  • plus the video is AMAZINING!!!!!!!! if this was real i would go on it so many times........

plus a good title, i dont study french but i guess its called -something- gaurdian cat/feline

  • I don't know any French either. I just Googled something together =)

Tower of Terror: Wrath of the guardian cat

    Thanks for the comments

  • Wow, that's really awesome!

I would love to see you do something like this for your other concept of the Tower. :)

  • Amazing! Please post more!
