You forgot to take in the setting as a factor. Of course some one is going to help you if you drop your stuff in a school setting, cause thats the way schools are, there will be some one kind enough to help even when others are more focused on getting to class. Retry your trials out in public on a busy street or something in the city, it is a lot different results.
