I was able to kill that dragon with 8 hits with my snow golem. Set a campfire to protect urself from a fireball. Rank 1 golem, clay mastery, rank 5 AM, earthquake cylinder. My biggest accomplishment of Mabinogi

Question: Haven't played the game for a while. How do you learn Summon Golem? Can a beginner learn it? And Is the community in Mabin still very elitist?

Left t he game a while back because it just got super annoying just doing the majority of things by myself w/o a sense of direction.

I play this game in very closed community and most of my friends are real life related - thanks to them, I have notthing annoying problem of elitist thing. We know playing helping each other brings much more fun than soloing. I want to show you our alby intermediate hard vids as a good example :)

LOL Thanks for replying. I figured learning it would be like a book...but how expensive is this book? I've always liked using summoner/pet types exclusive in my games...how easy is it to use this golem?

So there is no way to make a golem autoattack anything? That's...horrible...in many ways.

I seriously wished there was a way to use/tame an attacking-type pet w/o a timer...I got the golem yesterday, and the timer/golem control thing was not what I had in mind...

Just to let you know what I'm trying to make - a beast/summoner type which can attack from 2 vectors while I shoot arrows or use magic for the 3rd vector...

I had something like that in Guild Wars...and something like it in Grand Fantasia with my Necromancer.

Are the little golems just as strong as your big one? Because I dont wanna train my alchemy mastery if theres hardly a difference

there are huge difference of life, defense, protection and size (tho often huge golem disturbs us) so I strongly recommend to rank your AM if you want to use a stronger one

way to go! AM F~A training sucks you have to make tons of crystals(as you commented below), but 9 or upper will be easier. You can complete most of training in your leveling :3

Training your golem is a pain I have to go to noob training grounds on low populated channels and i kill like a army of foxes or racoons in 1 WindMill.

it was smart off you to activate counter before you controlled it but wouldn't that eat up your stamina.

better than enimies killing u, since stamina can heal pretty fast compaired to hp

Id ratheer have Defense on especially if I'm against archers since counter cant do anythingf against it..

okey dokey but im prett i wont need counter on if the golem gets all the monsters attention first. Well I can definetly use my golem to fight glas. Another thing dont spam windmill so much cause i eats up 10% of your HP unless you got alot of golem crystals well if I knock the enemy into a wall or corner i'll start using stomp instead of draining my HP with WM

I did but soon I found I don't need to ready counter in Baol. Fastest kill with 3 golems were the best. and I have plenty of crystals so my tactics focuses "faster kill". You have your way and know I have mine :3

Ok when its saturday this week I'm going to rebirth and rank up golem and AM in TNN. I was curious if there was a title for a summoned golem defeating a mob golem sadly there isn't but I'm glad to know a Rank E stone golem can deafeat a small golem even when it turns huge.

alcmemy mastery rank decides golem's size and strength(life/defense/protecti­on) modifier. Because my AM rank was 3, mine was bigger and stronger than other 2 girls' ones.

when u control a golem, do u get to get titles for when the golem accomplishes something? like if u havent had the bear slayer with a single blow yet and ur golem does it, do u get the title? or will it not count

hmm I already have almost all of basic "slayer" titles so I cannot confirm it soon but I don't think you can them with your golem.

Kinda. You need some effort like you rank creation/productive skills. If you are pretty rich, it won't be a problem - just buy the materials or crystals themselves :3
