Great cover, guys. Please ignore the spiteful comments about the singer. Firstly, his moves just reflect the fact he's having fun. Second, it's what he sounds like which matters. And he sounds great. That is an especially hard song to sing.

The groove is based upon their live shows in the 90s. They sped things up a bit when they performed the songs live.

its a ton of work for a band to get all these songs to sound right. Steely Dan isnt an easy band to cover. i give these guys a 10, just finding musicians who love Dan that much to put a tribute together is unreal.

The band sounds great. I really like the guitarist, he is really good. The rest of the band as well. You need to keep the singer on a tight leash. He looks like he's trying out for "Cats" on Broadway He has a good voice but with his moves and that mullet, he looks like a meth addicted lesbian..

GREAT job covering a difficult Dan tune (are there any easy ones?) I particularly liked the organ "stops" (Hammond B-3.... not a Dan thing,) and his choice of chord voicings near the beginning. GREAT guitar so;o, also; I love it all... 6 Stars!!!

I am not a tranny and I think I sound really good. if anything I am influenced by Jimi Jamison mfrom Survivor. I am not coping looks/style from Journey, and everyone says I looked really cool that night. Definitely some strong things here but I agree with LarryG...this is way square. The vid of Bodhisattva suffered from the same issues...there are just a lot of things that should be off the beat that end up being on instead...

The guitarist is pretty damn solid. Lead vocalist doin some crazy things while not singing... :-\

The ten dollar vocal mike probably doesn't help either. The accompaniment is pretty good considering how hard it is to play the Dan stuff, with all the altered chords, etc....the band pretty much nails it.

way too much rock star antics from the vocalist. You must be jokin', son. get some glasses and sit behind a piano.

I've watched a few of these guys videos and have a comment. Yes, the singers moves were spastic.. "social suicide" as Zappa would call it.

But who were you watching during the video. I couldn't take my eyes off the unrelated movements, like a bad car wreck. Also, his pitch isn't bad. How about when he sings "is there gas in the car?". He nailed it. Anyway my band plays some Dan so I though I would defend the dude. Search DNA Steely Dan to check out our cover version of Pretzel Logic.

Pretty damn good cover. Not an easy band to cover. Tell the front man to work on the moves though. He reminded me of my 7yr old daughter dancing around there a few times.
