Theres one thing i remember about stock. One game, he hurt his knee, maybe his first or second shift in... between the first and second, he said how excrutiating the pain was. In the second he lit the lamp, and blocked two shots... and in the third fought one of the biggest men i have ever seen. After his fight, he blocked two more shots in a key moment. After the game i was watching and The Trainer announced he had a hyper extended knee, a torn meniscus and a fractured femur. Talk about Heart.
PJ was the type of player, that when u saw him fight, made u wanna put ur life on the line to win the game for him. need more players like that in hockey. when that happens, ull get 1 more fan
one of the toughest you see everyone now afraid to get punched pj hung in there with boulton one of the best fighters that year and didnt try to end he never quits and should be admired greatly for that feared literally nobody cant imagine what he was like in highschool one of my favourite hockey players ever
i do not know this guy well but i can guarantee you something,NO WAY he had a chance against proby or guys like kocur or brown.Idonot know in fact if you know proby well because you some of the worst part of him,spécially the fight with wendel clark, that was by any mean his worst fight of bthe four he had against him...!
no he wouldnt but he would fight to the end and take many hits pj has never quit a fight he would fight kocur and probert and swing to to end thats why he is my favourite hockey player
come on...it's your opinion and i respect it,but nobobody in the history of the nhl ad a real fight with Probert and Kocur in the same game while they were together in big D!!!maybe your guy ad a chance maybe not he was not around at this time by the way...
i know that but im not saying anything extraordinary im saying pj would have fought either of them till the end he never backed down and he never gave up im not saying he would have a chance at winning at all im saying he would fight and i like that more then being the toughest i would rather be know to fight anyone then be know as the toughest or best fighter thats why i like stock he alwasy fought and was not affraid to get hit by anyone and kept swinging he was one of a kind
i know about kocur and probert really well and stock would lose but hang in there he was prett good at evading punches and taking them dead on i think he would have no problem hanging in with probert but kocur is another story, chuck norris was afraid of one thing and that was kocurs right hand but pj would definetly try and thats why i love him
that last fight was abssolutley amazing, he took a huuuge punch to the face and just came back at him p.j stock you are amazing. now a reporter..as every other ex hockey fighter these days
dude fuckin A!!!! Metallica and one of the toughest mother fuckers to lace em up. hes fuckin like 5'9" and can hang with fuckin anyone. fuckin warrior.
PJ Stock, pound for pound the best brawler there was. You better knock him out because he never let up. I know he didn't win them all but for a guy 5'10" he was as tough as they come. You always looked for that wave at the end.
has always been apart of hockey and now we have people trying to make it a clean game... it cant be its hockey one of the roughest sports thier are and fighting is just a part of the game
i remember when PJ was traded to the bruins. Me & my buddys were like "thats are bruins" every time PJ had a fight, but when PJ retierd it just wasn't the same, me & my buds r still bruins fans, but will always miss the good times with PJ "the beast" Stock
Can you imagine him and Chara together? Along with Raycroft and Thornton, a big guy on Defense like Chara was all that team was missing. That would've been a hell of a team! Too bad Boston couldn't keep it together, they had alot of talent on that team. I know alot of NHL fans and players frown on fighting, but in a game like this it's good to be P.J. stock. I think the fight between him and Boulton is the best I've seen since O'reilly went into the stands!
thats what the hell hockey needs today pj stock donny brashear rippin it up...the new nhl is too pussy and made for the flashiness even though its nice its got no more balls and it aint that fun anymore R U HEARING ME BETTMAN? bring back fighting u son of a bitch
from that to radio...yeah hes a radio person now in montreal he has his own show and he appers on various other ones also, for anybody who cares hes on weekdays from 10 AM to 12
I loved watching him as a Flyer. He was perfect on that team, he was the one that stirred everything up for them and he never faught like a pussy. I think hes even Bobby Clarke's son-in-law lol
