  • real hunters follow their prey by foot. Lazy jackasses use planes or helicopters

  • I didn't watch the whole video, but I support hunting, but not wolf hinting or lion hunting or anything like that. Hunting should be for population control (hogs, deer etc) not just to have a nice trophy on your wall.

  • I'm sure many native people wore wolf coats and head gear .. 1000 years ago . Wolf population should be controlled .. But not overboard! This lady lives in a condo with here little dogs and watches dancing with the stars .. No doubt . I can respect her caring for the nature though!

  • My name is Maggie XD

  • don't worry, most humans go to hell after they die unless they have a good spirit, like the natives here, or whats left of them. cruel heartless people hunt for mere fun go th HELL. so i would think about what you do.

  • @KillerElite12 that is truly hiliarious your lack of knowledge on the topic the Natives in Alaska are the ones who ask for the hunt to save the caribou. Duh next time learn the facts before you post your grossly ignorant comments.

  • kill the killers kill the ones that kill wolves those butiful animals deserve to live

  • There are a lot of stupid people in the world and a lot of them are hunters who dont mind killing something or trashing our streams and lakes with their litter. If it was left up to them they would destroy our planet

  • wolves smoke a pack a day

  • shooting wolves from the air is not nearly as sporting as shooting them from the ground or as challanging as trapping or snaring but I bet it is a lot more FUN!!

  • @sirparry1 well u must be sick if you think killing would be fun

  • notice this lady is from NY and doesn't have to contend with wolves in her back yard

  • @bugg255 I live with ocelots and foxes in my back yard and never shot them

  • HalfDumbHalfLiberal? - Only interested in eliminating wolves, coyotes, fishers & feral cats. You know varmints, worthless mammals who kill edible game or table fair!

  • When I get my helicopter pilot's license, I'm going to do everything in my power to stop the aerial hunters.

  • Aerial hunting is so barbaric. It might as well be canned hunting. I will not visit, live in, work in, or buy anything from Alaska until this stops.

  • @halfgoodhalfevil What the hell will that do? I'm going to Alaska as soon as possible to help stop it, instead of staying on the sidelines. You gotta be the change you wish to see! :)

    P.S. Long live the wolves!!!

  • @Skie123Vamp It means that by not visiting Alaska, I'm not supporting their government with tourist revenue. Same thing goes with buying from Alaska; if I buy things from Alaska, then again I'm supporting the state with my money. And I never said I was sitting on the sidelines...

  • continuation) its like the native americans or the africans. we white people bust the hell in and kill everyone or make them move so we can build a bussness. we thought the african slavery and the native american crap was inhumane right? this is the same damn thing!

  • @jakeofwar98 You are very confused. 1. Wolves do not kill just the weak and sick, they kill everything. 2. From 5000ft it's hard to see a wolf, try maybe 1000-500ft. 3. Wolves have kept the elk pop. in check?! No, they killed almost all of them! 4. It's not "we white people" that did anything, well I don't know about you but I've never owned a slave.

  • (continuation) them from 5000 feet up? think about it- what did they do to you? they keep the balance of nature by killing the elk so they dont overpopulate. and the wolves dont attack anyone unless they feel threatend and in that case they may just run away. they are not going to just come up and kill you or your kid unless you are physically beating them in a cornor or with a stick. the wolf lived there for hundreds of years before you, why do you have to bust in and kill him? its like native-

  • Again I state is this really humane? I mean wolves dont bother anyone, they kill only the sick and weak and old elk. they dont kill our dogs, our small dogs think they are tough and instead of getting betten and barked at the wolf fights back. do you just stand there and get punched by the smaller kid or do you push him back and hit him?? wolves dont have an adult or teacher to run to to make the dog stop. but I mean do you really have to go up in a plane with a high powered rifle and shoot-

  • Oh yeah lets go up in a plane 5000 feet up against a 4 foot tall 5 foot long wolf with a 306 caliber rifle that we can shoot 20 endangered wolves for no reason at a mile away. explain how that is logic. "OMg OMG OMG OMG THERES A WOLF PACK 20 MILES AWAY FROM OUR CITY IN ALASKA????? HOLYSHIT WHAT IF THEY GET MY BABY IN MY BACKYARD INSTEAD OF A MEAL!!!! HURRY DONT RELOCATE THEM THEY WILL JUST COME BACK 50 MILES TO KILL MY BABY HURRY SHOOT THEM FROM THE AIR mAH baby!!" god. wolves are natures grace.

  • Their smart and more people should know how THEY kill their prey!! They are the most brutal killers of the predator world. It is customary for them to eat their prey alive. That is correct they are the true meaning of being eaten alive. Nothing new for them. Hold down their live prey while others start from the rear of the animal where access is the easiest through the rear end. So the next time your admiring them just remember what a ranchers cattle or calf feels.

  • @rotaxhead true. but would you want to go right infront of huge ass antlers that are swerving around and could kill you by just the blow and the sharp hooves or are you going to try to kill it safley while not dieing from starvation? Wolves sometimes dont eat for months.

  • Nice answer LOL. I don't like predators small or large. If wolves are a benefit I would like to know how? Killing the sick, not one of the benefits. Don't give me the don't eat for months crap. You obviously have very limited knowledge of this predator. You should be a elk or whitetail and meet up with a pac. I have seen whitetail taken by wolves. Almost never do they take down a buck. Their all to smart for this since doe, elk cows and in the spring their young are #1.

  • @rotaxhead You do realize that humans are predators right? So are dogs, cats, birds, gerbils, pigs, frogs, fish, insects, whales, dolphins etc. You're saying you don't like any of those animals or people?

  • one word OWNED damn wolves

  • Well, I´m like there went 5 wolf packs to Germany, even though there are some sheep herd owner already now complaining cause they don´t want to pay for better fences or doesn´t want to watch for their animals longer then 2 hours a day...

And then they are wondering how the wolf came to the herd -_-'

  • Tyco200 - has no children , will never have children , he has no gun ! Tyco is helpless , he barks from his computor like a French Poodle and keeps his mouth shut when his mother sends him to the market . He will vanish , he is the last of his line , he is a Devolver . He screams at us but we understand his pain......he has no future , he is lost !He lives vicariously thru the diseased Wolves , he interprets destruction as Power . He under estimates the Elk and over estimates the Wolf .

  • Hunters = fucking cunt ass losers who need to be exterminated. ;)

  • @Tyco200 Animal activists= vegan pea brain pussies who can't hunt

  • @Wayoflife4life Really? And does that make you uneducated, pigs any better? I know my facts from research, dip shit. You cunts ruin our environment, and the world. You kill wolves, you kill the environment. You are a cancer that must die.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. Lots of Idaho farm-pigs commenting on how wolves are good for killing. Well, if your elk becomes overpopulated and dies, I will have a party. Stupid, illiterate, dipshits should be executed. You killed the fucking Timberland Gray Wolves in the 1930s, thus killing our only apex predator. So, we reintroduced the Canadian residents who were not made for Idaho. Now that they are causing problems, you once again deny taking the blame. Vermin, pig ass cunts. Die.

  • that is so cool, where do I sign up. probably expensive to rent the airplane .

  • As an apex predator the wolf is an important part of a healthy ecosystem. Hunting them extensively is counter-productive from any environmental standpoint and hunting them from the air is downright cowardly and unethical.

  • WHOO YEAH! AERIAL HUNTING. WHOOO!

  • wolves, wolves, wolves, all you ppl do is cry about these wolves getting shot, oh their so cute all they do is kill the sick and dying. What a lode of crap. I say shot'em all. Damn things

  • @Wayoflife4life Well I think you're just a hateful piece of wolf droppings mate! cheers

  • @Wayoflife4life Really? Like you shot all the Timberland Grey Wolves in the 30s thus overpopulating your vermin-little pig fucking bambis? Awww, I say we exterminate your elk as well! Awww, the poor little bambis being thrown in meat grinders. Too bad. :c Too bad our environment is trashed because you shot the original needed predators!

  • @Tyco200 13 yrs old huh, damn you have a dirty mouth kid. shit we are the orignal needed predators. weve been doing this for centuries. killing wolves killing wolves killing wolves cant eat' em but we gotta kill'em

  • @Wayoflife4life And yes, but I only use it on the inferior, diseased vermin such as yourself. ;) And yes, everytime you do systematically genocide the animals, you ruin the environment. Europe = suffers from low wolf populations. The United States = Your pathetic, vermin elk are literally become diseased because of a lack of wolves. Canada = PERFECT. They never touch their wolf populations, and thus, prosper. You fucking retard.

  • @Wayoflife4life Makes me laugh at how, when the Natives were around, wolves did fine. When the European pigs bread you, they systematically destroyed our environment. You mean nothing to this world. If only you actually cared to do the research on what effect you cause, maybe you'd care to STOP destroying what future generations will need. But then again, you're the Idaho, hilly-billy red neck pig who'd have sex with a thousand strippers before finally croaking. :P How's Obama'sGovernmentCheese?

  • @Tyco200 Sittting there on your computer you think your so smart, but all I hear from is pig ass, cunt, red neck. shit kid go out there and try to live off the land. You cant get that from a book or your rich ass computer. huh. I think its people like that ruin it for everyone else. dont know shit but some animal activists research about wolves.

  • @Wayoflife4life That all you can say? Actually, I have stated actual facts. It was you who eliminated the only apex predators we had in that part of our nation in the 30s' which overpopulated the elk in the 60s', 90s'. Look it up. If you kill them again, you will regret it. But that's alright! Keep killing! Eventually, your elk will kill their disgusting faces from this planet! :)

  • I understand hunting but this is not clean kills using buckshots and let them die in a slow painful death.

  • Couldn't they tranquilize the wolves, put one of those invisilbe fence collars on them, to keep them away from human hunting areas, have a few towers to trigger the shock if they get too close

  • You all have to understand that they (wolves) kill helpless moose, cairbou, elk,etc.. how about those poor animals. There are so many people (natives) that rely on these animals for survival. and if means killing a few hundred wolves. well that's what has to be done.

  • @Wayoflife4life It seems to me that in the way you put it wolves are bad because they kill helpless animals (by the way they are not so helpless. Moose, elks etc kill wolves as well in the process of hunting all the time). So according to your point, one should kill people who kill helpless wolves, or if wolves killed people who kill helpless wolves it would be just 'what had to be done'. Does this sound right to you? I hope not!

  • @EmperorDS Damn, I think your more screwed up than the wolf killers. You need some profesionally help.

  • @Wayoflife4life Simple history, you stupid cunt. Look it up. You ruin everything for our environment, and then baw on how the wolf did it. Take it like a man and stop crying over the fact that you killed the original breeds on our lands, thus forcing a new mandatory replacement. I wish we didn't reintroduce these beautiful animals and left the elk to overpopulate and die in Idaho, Wyoming and so on.

  • OMG!:((((

  • wolves are like dogs. they are dogs. would we go out and go killing everbodys petts? then why wud we do it in wild

  • Shot em up !

  • Let's just kill all the people and then the earth can take care of it's self. NOT

    Stupid tree huggers.

  • @lovesmausers shut the hell up these are beautiful living creature are you fucking retarted??!!!!!!

  • @grizzlycubb bahahahahah I think it should have been, these are beautiful living CREATURES not creature. You know, plural?? Who's the retard? You can't even speak the queen's english. You are pathetic.

  • @grizzlycubb absolute worthless animal that kills for the simple enjoyment of killing.

  • Comment removed

  • @lovesmausers tree hugger? thank you for that comment. I'd like to personally kick your a**, but that would send me to jail for brutally assulting a dumb son of a b****h of the street. You think that wolves a just a piece of s**t, they take better care of themselves and their family then most humans. They are mated for life. How many people have u or yo mama sleep with??!!!! F***er

  • 23 people hate wolves and are rednecks who think that wolves are savages and theyre not!!

those idiots someday better die from some dude in a helicopter shooting them >:(

  • Funny how the Native Americans co-existed with the bear, wolf, mountain lion, and every other animal on this continent with no problems whatsoever. It wasn't until the white people showed up, and overturned the natural balance of nature that everything got all screwed up. Now we have the government agencies that are supposed to be helping (BLM, Dept of Conservation, ect..) but they just make everything worse. Thank you for posting this and proving what hypocrites they are.

  • @Rainbowskye1968 - Ya and look at 'em today !

  • @Rainbowskye1968 And I 100% agree with you. Hunting faggots killed off the original species of American Great Plains/Timberland Gray wolves which saved the ecosystems long before man, and so we have these environmental problems. So, we sent in the wolf's cousin, the Canadian gray wolf, not designed for the plains of Idaho. But they're all we have now. Because of those vermin parasite pigs do we have these problems now. Their fault. Elk go to hell, tough shit for the hunting-faggots.

  • @Rainbowskye1968 - Wasn't until White People showed that Indians got Casino's ! Let's see do you want a Teepee or a Casino.....Hummmm ?....Casino haba !

  • fuck sarah palin i should on purpose for no reason shoot her in the face and see how she likes it when shes tryin to get away!she supports dis!!she thinks its a fuckin sport.someone explain how killing healthy wild animals for no reason who done nothin to u is a sport?!cuz all i see it as brutally killing :P

  • This is horrible. I wish people would know this. HUNTING is sport. Wolves do this to SURVIVE. And this is a bad mistake. To little wolves=more prey. More prey=less grass. Less grass=less food for the ecosystem.

  • @avrilrocks55

"To little wolves=more prey. More prey=less grass. Less grass=less food for the ecosystem."

    Haha. Brilliant.

  • Watch the movie, Never Cry Wolf. It explains everything about the wolf( mainly mice) Wolves thin out the herds by getting rid of the sick, old, and weak. Man is to blame for moving into the wolves territory and hunting thier food supply. Typical humans, always looking for a scapegoat.

  • whats the diferrence between aerial wolf hunting and regular wolf huntingeither way your shooting it its just one is easier and one is harder if aerial hunting is bad why isnt regular hunting bad you cant make being lazy illegal

  • people who do this sort of thing make me sick. I wish wolves were smart enough that they could eat these sort of people!

  • @BigBlueBlackOut What do you think humans been doing to each other forever? We don't only kill animals. We kill other humans more brutal too.

  • they dont kill that much they kill one moose every few days so sad such cute animals if it werent for these guys we would have no dogs like we do today

  • Actualy, they did not balance. Wolves usually brought the populations donw to the point where they either had to move or starve. We have more animals today because of less wolves. There is no evidence of what happened thousands of years ago, the "serengetti of North America" exists better today than before because wolf populations are controlled. Keep the wolf population down, more game animals, more jobs for people, more game to hunt, just common sense.

  • @Mont556n nonsense not common sense. wolves dont make deer starve. it's the other way around. deers stay in an area until they eat everything they can. because there are so many deers inhabiting fertile areas, all of them starve, many to death. it's called a population boom and bust cycle. on the contrary to your thinking, more deers make them miserable because overpopulation facilitates the spread of diseases not only starvation. places where there are a lot deers, lyme disease is rampant.

  • @biohax Tom Bergerud, who studies wolf predation in canada, states is simply. "wolves have no known predators and basically stay in an area until the food is exhaused. I have watched herd after herd go extinct in british columbia due to wolf predation." My suggestion is that if you have to many deer you should put more hunters in the field.

  • I think its funny how people think that alaskans have such a bad impact on the ecosystems up here when people who live in newyork, LA, Miami and other heavily populated places around the world that care so much about what we alaskans are doing. Have totally decimated the wildlife in there back yard. Pidgeons dont count either. Quit worrying about what were doing and help out you own animals. Predator control is a part of life up here as it is everywhere.

  • My arguments: Killing an herbivore like a deer, or an elk is one thing as it is its nature to be hunted.. However killing a predator is unnatural and screws with the balance of nature, we have no right to pick and choose of what animals we want to exist and should leave them to exist and die out naturally.

Wolves: Contrary to believe of "Game hunters" the average pack of 5-7 and in some cases 20 wolves will bring down one unit of big game about 1-2 weeks, and they all share it.

  • (continued) A wolf pack naturally targets the weak and old from a herd, thus giving its future generations a stronger lineage, While man (most of the time) will target the largest, toughest and fittest animal for trophy. At the same time 1 maybe 2 hunters will kill game for "The fun/sport of it" and most of the time these hunters are using weapons such as guns where death of the target is pretty much guaranteed. I have a great admiration for bow hunters, for that is the true "spirit" of hunting.

  • 2 I will say this most of the people here, pro and against this have never had close contact with the beast, thus they cannot be accurate or non biased opinion on the nature or preservation of them. Lastly another nature statement... eating meat is natural to us HOWEVER the amount is extremely overeaten in countries like america Ideally you should eat no more then the size of your palm, so "Hunting" in such vast quantities is once again defying the natural order of our world. No lame replies plz

  • @Hajiftw BS! Thats just why the wolves attack and mame health cow elk and cattle?! Because they were unhealth, weak and carrying calves. Moron.

  • @Hajiftw and how many units does that pack bring down when its population has doubled. you apparently have really been around wolf packs. Ive had them in my yard with my 70 pound black lab pinned up underneath my porch trying to eat him. and seen the dozens of moose kills. They dont care if they are hungry or not if they can they will try to kill something.

  • @MrBucksnort23 I've raised wolves, they only hunt / kill / attack when provoked. Before you judge and talk so stupidly, please raise your own wolves. They're not mindless eating machines. If anything, humans are.

  • @XZeeChan ..Thumbs UP for you my friend!

    I agree totally with you.

    Greetings from NYC.

  • @navalwarfare Thank you :) Greetings from Music City.

  • @Hajiftw Exactly, and what is it to waste an entire fleshy body of a dog? What kind of wasteful pigs would do such a sport? Fucking coward ass cunts. Let them die.

  • @Hajiftw sometimes to keep the herbivores alive the predator populations need to be kept in check

  • @Hajiftw

    Agree!

  • bottom line is they are god's creatures.leave them alone to roam free in their own habitat.now im not from canada but i love wolves and i see no sense in killing them

  • Here we go again with these ass hole animal rights exstreamist !

This Hole BS about killing these wolfs is a way these exstreamist use to collect Millions of tax free dollars just to put in their own pocket from the suffering of other peoples problems in country's these animal rights dipshits don't even live in .

These dipshit animal rights groups don't give a rip at all about the wolfs its the money they collect from ignorant bleeding hearts all over the world these dipshits care about .

  • @Moldovawineimporter Before you down anyone, correct your spelling and grammar. At least we "Animal Rights Extremists" can spell. :)

  • you ignorant fucks. the wolf population can sustain itself even with hunting.

  • disgusting people with no dignity calls this thing a hunt

  • Really though if there was no humans in the area and hunting of no animals everything would be fine. Its been fine for hundreds of thousands of years without humans and was always in balance. When prey declines predators population declines with them over time

  • Hunting them from the air and hunting them from the ground are two very diffrent things they have no chance when guys are shooting at them from the air i think it should stop but if your on the ground i agree with it.

  • I guess with our help keeping wolves alive,may-be we could come up some way to protest.Like shut off our lights at a certain time and month, like other protesters are going to do in March. Great, how about not getting gas for our cars on that day? Prepare to get your gas the day before. We have got to band together right away on this ,but we have to get together as ONE voice.I have a very close and personal relation ship with wolves. I would be right there with them come hell or high water.

  • When I see a dead wolf it means I need to reload.

  • @archer49d you are sick! I sincerely hope someone shoots you and shoots down the aircraft involved in shooting down wolves or any animal for sport alone.

  • Personally I don't care what you think about me or what I (and others) have done in Alaska, it's out state not yours...

That being said, I haven't ever hoped someone dies or is "shot down" you have, making you sub-human or deranged. Have fun with that.

  • @archer49d since when is that your state? because the society has accepted that the world is ''ours'' doesnt mean it is. Alaska is not yours, and you CANT kill wolves because you want to. Unfortunately, most humans forgot what we really are and they think humans are above nature.

My english sucks but i hope at least 1 of the millions of idiots all around the world will change his mind a bit and start thinking with his brain and not with his ego.

  • Exactly the sort of mentality people in Alaska despise, by the way I live in Guam and Hawaii now (yes AND), I used to live in Alaska, and until you actually spend some time somewhere to see the challenges faced by the people there keep your mouth shut, your opinion is WORTHLESS. I don't go around telling you what to do in your back yard or your country as I have been to neither. Been to Alaska lately? How long you live there? Any friends there? Any accomplishments there? Heard of a Lead Sled?

  • @archer49d maybe im just too dumb and made a mistake... but WTF does it have to do living or not living in alaska with the idiotic, brainless and pathetic way of thinking that you and most humans have? I dont F***ing care if you were born in alaska or in the bloody vagina of the fkin brianless planet, killing wolves is just retarded, here, in alaska and everywhere. There are wolves here in Spain, and i wont say i could kill them just coz I ''think'' Spain is mine...

    grow a brain

  • You're retarded, you have equitable say in whatever occurs in Spain, you don't have it in Alaska, you do not live in the bush, you do not have numerous overpopulated packs of wolves roving the countryside, you have never seen an Eskimo in your life, much less seen or experienced the way people live in the north. Your desire to IMPOSE your will on others trends equitably with other great European leaders of the past, Mussolini and Hitler being good examples.

  • @archer49d you are comparing me with hitler? get a brain.

And again, i dont care if people in alaska live differently, i already told u i dont give a flying shit.

The fact that u r a retard doesnt change.

Do you think wolves are overpopulated? maybe its you humans that doesnt know a crap about living there :o

  • Yes I am comparing you with a history of European tendencies to attempt to control cultures and peoples they know nothing about.

"You humans", okay dumbass, look in the mirror, you're human.

Alaska overpopulated? Least populated state in the Union, and one of the least populated places in the world, far from overpopulated.

You and yours are an example of militant and unreachable environmentalism that is simply sickening. Subject is closed on my end, and do the world a favor, STAY IN SPAIN.

  • @archer49d u made a record.

1st mistake: im not trying to control other cultures, i just said killing wolves isnt nice.

2nd mistake: i never said alaska is overpopulated, maybe you should read again..

3rd mistake: im not an enviromentalist, again, i just said killing wolves doesnt make any good.

4th mistake: i know im a human, that doesnt change the fact that most humans are retarded.

Nice, you said 4 things and made 4 mistakes...

  • Maggie Howell is right; nature can manage itself. it's not our job to kill the wolves.

BruceH59, I do not believe that wolves did that. Wolves do not kill, EVER, for fun.

  • Are you stupid?

Are you trying to actually say that animals are robotic entities that do not display any form of emotion, creativity or ingenuity, or that possibly their aggressive nature would cause them to kill without the intent of consumption? They do and have. And you sound a lot like someone who's never been out in the boonies.

  • ono! poooor wolves! what make the peolpes with the wolves!!

  • wolves kill to survie they arnt humas who kill for fun if u look at it ifit werent for woles ur pet dogs would not be so random in breades they took and breed wolves whit difrent kinds of dogs to get new breads so y the heck are people so out raged buy wolves killing sheep hello if a human came inand killed a fw sheep at a time he wouldnt be killed for it hed be put in jail so build a higher fince to keep them out and stop hunting them

  • We should shoot em all...ya, I will shoot every one I see. They kill moose and deer, and I shoot them to provide food for the family. Shoot a wolf, save a deer is my motto.....Tree huggers, move back to the city where ya belong!

  • I hunt for sustenance of my family too. and that is it. What you just said is very ignorant and blunt. Wolves do the same for their pack as we do for our family. The wolves population is also at an all time low with sometimes fewer than 900 in a certain area. WE as HUNTERS should respect nature and protect it because we do love it. I do not condone to killing Wolves or any Apex Predator/ threatened species for that matter

  • What an ignorant pillock you are.

  • poor wolves :( how could they

  • sasksaint, i live in alaska, they were here first, truthfully, if it were legal, i'd be out there with a gun helping the wolves because what u hunters call hunting, is being cowards. Why not try using just a knife instead of a gun, i wanna see a few of u bast*rds get maimed. Wolves are the true wandering spirit of our earth, in which man has truely lost all hope of understanding. You must be so mean cause u were never loved i guess. You dont want ur dogs to die, pen them up r-tard

  • I cannot undersatand how vocal people are about subjects they really know nothing about.. and have only heard others dogma and then get all emotional. Beleive me i live in northern Sask and there are lots of wolves. They ARE NOT in danger of extinction. At times they become a problem and when they do Whacking a few of them can do some good. I have lost some realyyy good dogs to them over the years ( including a nice dalmation bitch.) All we found of her was a real mess. u getalife

    CHEERS

  • shut the fuck up. its people like you that don't have a clue whats going on. Wolves hunt for a reason. to survive. did you ever stop and think for a moment that when the wolves killed your dogs that thy were being territorial? no you fucking didn't. you bring dogs in to wolf territory and of corse there going to kill it. as for live stock wolves don't seem them as being owned by anyone so thy hunt and kill them. the wolves are only doing what thy can to survive. so why don't you get a life?

  • Search Dillion Montana 120 sheep slaughter ripped to shreds in a single night by wolves? Why for the fun of it the sheep were wasted killed slaughter for no reason except the wolves just wanted to kill them.

  • U sick bastard. How do you think these animals are a problem. They're the most beautiful creature ever created. I pray to god the hunting stops.

  • i agree with ClearCollector.

yet still Bruce. i find that hard to believe that a pack of wolves slaughtered 120 sheep. normally wolves have very small packs that consist of blood related members. now if a couple of packs got to them then yes i can believe that. anyways thy weren't killing just for fun. thy were killing to survive. it may seem cruel and wrong in our eyes but that's nature. there's nothing we can do about it.

  • Guns aren't nature. Brutally slaughtering these wonderful creatures isn't nature. I don't see how you could say that killing them is nature.

  • i wasn't saying killing wolves is nature. think before you reply please? i was saying that the wolves were killing the sheep is nature. i am completely against killing wolves.

  • I don't see how you can say that humans and out ingenuity aren't nature.

  • Wolves are the most beautiful things and mean everything to me. Guns aren't nature.

  • Well I can't help that you're delusional, but what I can do is fill the quotas for kills, regardless of what you say people in places like AK just don't give a crap what people further south of them think, so go suck on it.

  • And I can't change your immaturity so go fuck yourself you immature piece of shit murderer.

  • omg im gonna cry poor wolves

  • This kills me that people are doing this. I'm in a deep depression because wolves are being killed. Wolves mean everything to me and I won't let them be killed.

  • anybody intrested in learning the truth about wolves should read the book "never cry wolf"

  • bugger off. that's a fictional story for kids. wolves aren't really like that.

  • If this keeps happening there will be no wolves left in our world thx to these hunters!!! I'm an animal lover<3 wolves are my top animals here in this world n i want them to live longer n not be killed!

  • Let's see. Sheepmen lose stock to wolves, coyotes, mountain lion and some to bear. Who is the invader here? Wolf and Caribou populations balanced for thousands of years. Man comes along and opens hunting season on Caribou, interupts the migration routes and now biologists blame the wolf for the problem. Typical gov't and sport hunting reasoning.......from a former guide and trapper from Alaska 1963-1976. Wolf hunting has always been a trip to feed insecure egos of sport hunters......hecitu

  • @CetanSha - Ya and you were their Guide ! Once a Nazi always a Nazi ....hecitu !

  • @TheFreecoyote at least im in a pack un like u lone wolf and nice come back

  • @CetanSha geel free to volunteer yourself in the human extinction movement, oh whats that? Ohh you choose to live in your home which was built on top of land which forced some animal off it at some point. Huge hypocrisy

  • People are stupid. They are the ones that destroy the balance of things. If poor countries in Africa can afford guard dogs so can the USA,Canada and Australia but I think there answer is to kill. The Australian Wolf(Dingo)is almost extinct and yet they still kill it. The Tasmanian Wolf became extinct because they refused to listen. And in that case it was feral dogs that killed sheep the Tasmanian Wolf actually was too weak jawed(really a primitive marsupial) to kill sheep.

  • Goofball! Ready to look ignorant and stupid?????? This aerial "wolf control, limited kill in only six small parts of here in Alaska", didn't start with Palin! You dumbass! It has been going on through three previous Gov's, one a fucking lib Dem called Tony knowles! Second, this wasn't to raise our Elk Population, it was to enhance our Caribou and Moose pop in interior Alaska, "where their arte no Elk! Only place we have elk up here is on the coast, Afognak,Rasberry,Etolin Island! Thats all!Ass!

  • If wild wolves only kill what they need to eat then why did a rancher outside of yellowstone lose 149 sheep in one night to wolves? USFW re-introduced wolves back into the Yellowstone system and they have raised havoc with deer, elk, bison even grizzlys. Just wait till they snack on some campers pets or worse.

  • not cool.

    i love wolves.

    go kill a coyote.

  • lets see a head shot!

  • Comment removed

  • Of a redneck with a rifle? Yeah i'd love to see that!

  • Yeah I hope we see a headshot on you you sick fuck!!!

  • Wolves have no say for themselves it saddens and angers me that hunters kill wolves for fun wolves need our help guys wolves may have killed people but theyre just defending themselves with this crisis still going on wolves are doomed we must stand and fight for our wolves survival wewill not take this "killing wolves for fun" anymore so is anybody with me

  • Wolves and large grazing animals lived side-by-side for tens of thousands of years before we humans arrived. Food availability and weather can regulate wolf populations & when their prey is scarce, wolves suffer too. They breed less frequently, have fewer litters and may even starve to death. Wolves often enhance prey populations by culling weak and sick animals from the gene pool, leaving only the strongest animals to reproduce. So wolves are crucial to our ecosystem.

  • havent wolves been in alaska for thousands of years?? how come now they "need" humans to control their population?

  • The N Yellowstone Elk Herd was reduced by 90% in thee yreas 2000=2003. Aherd of 19,000 Elk reduced to 9,450, in 2009 six yrs later, that herd hovers at 7000. The public is not outraged by the destruction of the Elk,it supports it.The Wind River Moose are gone, Bozeman Chronicle june 6 2009 "Moose in Predator Pit". America is like the wounded hyena, eating it's own intestines as it runs into oblivion.

  • The public is not outraged by this as the video suggests. The people of Alska support it. The aerial wolf control is only allowed on state land which accounts for about 14% of Alaska's landmass. Only 700 wolves have been taken over 6 years out of a population estimated to exceed 15,000. This barely dents the population in areas where wolves take 10-13 times as many big game animals as human hunters do. Alaskans have supported this program for years and it will continue.

  • That's not what I read. Alaskans have voted several times to ban aerial hunting but Palin & her cronies have still managed to use every treick in the book to get around it & continue to allow this barbaric practice.

  • You need to keep reading vodude. First off Palin isn't even in office anymore, Sean Parnell is and he's said he'll continue the predator control programs. Secondly the last time it came to a vote the people of Alaska soundly defeated the attempt to ban aerial wolf control. There's still plenty of wolves in Alaska and there will continue to be for a long time to come even with the current predator control measures.

  • Well I actually knew that Palin left office (thankgod) but I forgot to mention that. I was just trying to say that Palin has done more harm to the wolves then anyone else. She's tried to eradicate entire packs, offered a $150 bounty for every severed wolf paw brought in & ramped up all the terrible programs (ie: chasing & shooting wolves from airplanes) that her predecessor Frank Murkowski, put in place. All that just so her rich trophy hunting buddies could bag a few more elk & moose.

  • One last thing. Under Palin's watch, there were 14 wolf pups dragged out of their den & each one was shot in the head by one of her state hired killers. I don't care how many wolves there are in Alaska, that kind of brutality is uncalled for & animal cruelty anyway you look at it.

  • Those wolves had absolutely annihilated the Alaska Penninsula caribou herd and as a last ditch effort to save them ADF&G shot several adult wolves on the caribou calving grounds. After the fact they found the pups and realized they were abandoned. No zoos wanted them because wolves are so common so they chose to euthanize them instead of letting them starve. They actually chose the humane route and for the first time in years the AK Penn. caribou herd actually had calves that survived.

  • Sometimes euthanizing is needed but i'm not sure that gunshots to the head are the typical way that is done. Also, if the parents of these pups hadn't been slaughtered in the first place, this cruel act would've never been needed in the first place.

  • How else are you supposed to euthanize a wolf in the Alaskan bush? Bore it to death with a liberal rant? By killing those couple dozen wolves they essentially saved the AK Penn. caribou herd. That herd dropped from more than 10,000 to less than 1,000 in just a few years. Human hunting of the herd wasn't allowed so wolves were the only factor. Calf survival was at less than 1% due to wolf predation.

  • You talk if the only thing that kills caribou are wolves. What about human poachers, adverse weather & oil refineries? Are the wolves the only thing affecting caribou? Also, how do you know that the euthanizers, if that's what you want to call it, actually tried to find a zoo for those pups? I think the people behind all of this would tell the citizens whatever they thought you wanted to hear in order to carry on this sick practice so don't believe everything they tell you.

  • Thanks for proving that you know absolutely nothing about Alaska or its caribou vodude. For starters there isn't a single oil refinery in caribou range in Alaska. There are the oil fields of Prudhoe Bay where the Central Arctic Herd lives. Funny thing is that herd has grown from about 3,000 when they started drilling in the late 70's to more than 65,000 today. I'd say they're doing just fine.

  • Why on earth would any zoo pay a small fortune to move a couple of wolf pups from bush Alaska to their facilities when wolves are a dime a dozen at zoos all across the country. They aren't even remotely rare so there's other options. As far as carrying on that "sick practice," that was a single incident that was an emergency order to save the remnants of the Alaska Penninsula caribou herd. It was actually carried out by the area biologists because of the precipitious decline in caribou.

  • So serious question vodude. Are 20-30 wolves worth more than 10,000 caribou in your mind? I don't want to see wolves eradicated, they certainly have their place. But I also don't want to see entire caribou herds eradicated either. When that happens it can often take a century or more for them to come back. I'd rather see a balance of healthy wolf numbers and healthy caribou numbers, not a lobsided population one way or the other.
