Actually Rameses did not WIN the battle of Kadesh, but there was a status quo on the next day. The Ptah and Seth division even prevented Rameses to get killed! So Rameses rather lost than won. But he survived and when he ruled for 21 years there was a peace treaty.
Of course Rameses was not the Pharaoh of the Exodus - he is much too late for a start. HOwever I do have to say this view of the Battle of Kadesh is somewhat one-sided! Even so, a brilliant video, thanks!
@Philip2uk yea, it might have been one-sided but it was hard to see both sides in such a short amount of time. However many believe that Ramses was the pharaoh under the exodus, so thats why I made that comment.
@gordon8282 Ramses' son wrote in his memoirs that his father crossed Asher during a campaign. Asher was one of the 12 tribes of Israel AFTER Joshua had settled. Therefore it cant have been Ramses. I believe it was Tuthmosis, if you want to know more, hit me back :)
nope contrast to popular belief rameses II was not the pharoah of oppression as refered to in the bible, recently, the exodus was redated to around 1,500 BCE. Which means the pharaoh who killed babies and chased moses was Ahmose I Reigned from 1550 BCE- 1,525 BCE,further, Ahmose in ancient egyptian means brother of moses.

@bilalhidayat dude everything you said wasnt true.Seti I was the pharaoh who killed babies Ramses was only a warrior who didnt even drown he swam back to shore at the end of the moses story and he reigned until he was 90 and died of arthritis.Seti I killed babies while ramses was a prince of egypt moses thought that ramses would kill them he didnt kill them all he did was help other egyptians by conquering lands that people like romans took over.Ramses never drowned thats all fake.
@Strategos300 well since i see that you like to act as if you're in denial.. which doesent come as a suprise to me heres a example in southern egypt theres still some fullblooded authentic decendants of ancient egypt, but thats atleast 5-10% while the rest 90% are decendants of arabs and turks and greeks and roman invaders also irandian persian invaders since they once qonquered egypt, and if you still wanna act foolish, well another example is, modernday Australian and Amerikkans arent Native's
