In one week I saw Evanescence, The Pretty Reckless and Within Temptation. The best band, sound, singer and whole experience was Within Temptation. The live show was brilliant, the engergy amazing and Sharon's voice was sharp and clear from start to finish. Plus she wore her poppy for Rememberance Day which made her a top lady all round!

@jakke1975 :-)you get that impression because sharon's voice is really ethereal like a crystal and with little volume when she sings in really high notes, so it seems like she's singing higher than she actually does. my personal opinion is that the notes of the original were a bit high for her range and the notes of this acoustic version a bit low. i believe that dear sharon must find her balance as regards to that matter and experiment less with the lower register.. her higher range is magical!

@Sandsack2311 bullshit, she sings VERY high live usually, as an obsessed fan of her concert performances I can tell you she sings a WIDE variety of ranges. And often live she sounds exactly like the cd but switches up the order and the lyrics.

If you think about it, singing this song that high with very little instruments would be a little over the top.

Yes, this is Sharon. Her upper range voice and lower range voices are significantly different.  But she can make them connect, which is the main factor.
