Terrific I've never really seen any of the groups I have been listening to forever. The Moonglows are one of my all time favorite groups. Have you ever tried to chose a fovorite doo wop of all time? A tough job which can be made a bit easier by making a list of your all time favoirtes and then chosing one. Send me your choice and I will record everyones entry before the world ends next year on December 23 acording to the mayan calendar
That's Billy Johnson on guitar. Billy passed away in 1987. I always wanted to know what happened to his Fender strat? It had to be an early one, a '54 or '55, because he had it when he started with The Moonglows.
@bleuhayes Hello, that is neat! Do you know what year the strat was made? The serial number will tell you. Thanks for the reply, appricate that my friend.
I KNEW FROM THE START that the Moonglows were one of MY favorite groups! Can you imagine how proud their families were that they were in a movie? I LOVE this video! Thank YOU!
@kingnine9 no, not in their day..this was very popular, very much loved and requested by us (back then lol) teenagers....Alan Freed's favorite group....

I love this song. The lyrics were sweet, nothing dirty like the lyrics today. The harmonizing is wonderful.
