i had an amazing account in 09 the show where I broke the Career and Season ERA record and broke Cy Young's career win record. I won like 560 games and my career ERA was 1.90 in the MLB. Hard to believe in the minors it was 3.70.
when your a pitcher you dont bat which i love but i hate on how they make you lose stats in a month if you dont increase everything how do you keep his stats up????? please respond thanks :)
if you're playing 09 it may be different, but first thing i maxed out was my pitcher's durability/stamina, you don't need to worry about speed, hitting, bunting, fielding at the beginning, but by improving stamina/durability you avoid injuries and pitch deeper into games, which in the process gives you the opportunity to earn more points.
if you're playing 09 the show it may be different, but in 08 it usually takes 1 or 2 years before being called up, i have 2 other RTTS profiles in 08 and all 3 got called up midseason of the second year... keep doing what you're doing though, its tempting to just sim through until you get called up but playing those games in the minors is a great way to boost your stats
I got called up with the Yankees, signed a 1 year deal with the Padres in 2010, played 1 year with Cubs in 2011, 1 year contract with Indians in 2012, and now I'm in a 1 year, $23 M contract with the D-backs.
i dunno, usually it takes a year or two to get called up but if your team is stocked with good relief pitchers or already has a good closer signed for a while it might be longer
GO DBACKS!!!!

I'll check how fast the changeup is next time I play, fastball is usually 98-100mph, dropping to 96 at times.
