Riduculously short, but high-damaging juggles were rampant in Tekkens 1, 2, 3, and possibly Tag (Paul, Mishimas, and any boss, basically had hard-hitting combos that could decimate an opponents' lifebar in seconds.)

Juggles were somewhat rough in Tekken 4, but not seen as an issue (the real issue is Jin's Laser Annihilator move AKA JFLS.)

The long and extended juggles indeed started off in Tekken 5, and got longer in 6. But damage scaling is noticeable.

heihachi is easy to play as in ultra hard mode because he has so many combos that are easy to pull of and they are powerful

I've beaten Ultra Hard a few times and I think the biggest pain in the ass characters are Kazuya, Law, and Paul.
